Imagine that the SAA will end up in the South Region ...
That would make sense.

Good question. The powers in the old SCAC were Southwestern, Colorado College, Austin, and Trinity; the SAA race could be pretty wide open. Based on their rapid progression in most sports I'd think Birmingham-Southern may be the team to beat - they were the only top-four seed in last year's tournament from the eastern side of the conference. Only one SAA team won a match in the tournament - homestanding Millsaps who hosted the tourney and upset Austin in the second round, after defeating (#11 seed) Oglethorpe in the opener.

Nice preview. Looks like it could be an exciting season. Do you get to many games?
Generally just attend SCAC championships and/or NCAA playoffs when close by (central TX) ... won't be attending any SAA matches ;)

I thought you might have had a daughter who played. I'd like to catch a couple of Carthage games this season. I have some former students who are going there to play.
I get that reaction a lot from the parents who ask me "which one is your daughter." :)
Good luck to your former students at Carthage!
