Thank you Wooderson- awesome to watch over & over again.

GoldandBlueBU- Bethel is far from done. If the Royals run the table, they have a strong case for a Pool C bid, losing to the #4 @ the time Wheaton & the #6 @ the time SJU by tight scores looks strong for them BUT they need to run the table.

I agree with you on that.  Bethel is a very impressive team.  And depending on what happens, if they run the table they could still end up with an automatic bid.  For our sake though, let's hope the stars don't align quite as well for Bethel this year as they did for SJU last year with two losses!

Make sure you tune into Football Weekly tonight, it is streamed on the website, its tonight from the Stonehouse Tavern and Eatery...7pm central time until 8...we will have Mike Trewick and Dominik Haik on from the Js and Sartell head coach Jon Ross on as our high school guest...start with the J's wrap with High School...

I tried the station website ("Listen Live") around 7:15 (5:15 my time) but all I got was the message "WBHR can only stream select broadcasts outside of ESPN.  Check back to see if your event is streaming..."   ???

I noticed the same thing tonight.  You actually have to hook up through the "listen live" link on the right side of the football page at gojohnnies.com.

I can't believe that nobody suggested driving into St. Joseph for lunch at Bo Diddley's.

I'm not a big Bo Diddley's fan.  :P

Blasphemy!!!

Bo Did's supplied us with sandwiches after every away game...I just got sick of them after a while.
Duff, did you get sick of Bo Dids or did you get sick of eating them while sucking in diesel fumes from the bus?  If you want to give them another try, I'll buy after the home opener.

Wooderson, are you making it to the game this weekend or are you riding shotgun with Duffman to look at a boat?

Have you been pumping iron to get back in playing shape for the Halftime show during Homecoming 5 yr. Anniv. of the 2003 Stagg Bowl?

I'll definitely be at the game, doing all of VOJ's dirty work down on the sidelines.

OK if you're Bethel/Steve Johnson:

What is your halftime speech?

Are you wishing you hadn't publicly disclosed your punch then in the mouth strategy?

"You wanna crown their ass?  Then crown 'em!  We let 'em off the hook!"

Denny Green?

That would be correct

I thought it was very Denny-Green-esque to say you were going to punch a team like Mount in the mouth.

Nice of you to join us today Woody.  Are you enjoying the Monkey Stomp?

Lovin it TDT.  Might have to celebrate with an Old Johnnie Ale.

Duff,

Which hat to you have on???  Purple with Raiders on the front?? Or the visor with the sword?  I went with the visor.

I figured you'd go with your purple sheriff's hat...

Duff, when you get back, nice interview. That was awesome.

Thanks guys!  I did what I could.  Props to Wooderson for lining it up, though!

Great day all around.  Glad to get Duff on the broadcast.

Johnnie D was just too well-prepared and too disciplined today for that GAC offense to be effective.

The DU/HH wedding?  Have fun.  See for the Auggie Tech extravaganza.  Might have to keep your old man away from the Kool-aid next time :o

That's the one.  I'll have to tell you some of the highlights from my time spent over on the Marietta sideline last week.  Definitely a different perspective than what I'm used to.

Are you going to/working the RF/SJU game, Wooderson?

Will not be able to make it this weekend.  I have the wedding of a HS classmate of yours/former landlord/baseball teammate of mine.  I'll be back on the job the next week vs Augsburg.
