Hey Olinemom - I couldn't find your e-mail address but I want to wish you a speedy recovery...let's get that rehab done and be ready for the season...see you in November.

abnrgr - be safe, be smart, be sober ( 2 out of three ain't bad)...I echo what the others have said...thanks and we'll hear from you in November.

Lynchburg and HSC played every year from 1920 to 1931 (11 games)...Catholic and Lynchburg played 1 time (a tie game in 1924).

Congrats to the "Kids"...here's to many wonderful years together...

Happy holidays to all ...since I've just recently joined the staff at Catholic as an assistant, this will be my last post...but I'll always be an avid reader of post patterns...good luck to all in 2006.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier, but I've actually gone 2 days without reading the ODAC posts...Kid got some bad info this time...Keith has never considered leaving Catholic (for HSC or anywhere else)...he loves Catholic and even though he will miss Coach Clark tremendously he has no desire to go anywhere else...Muchacho is right about Tom Clark...he is leaving for family reasons and will be greatly missed at Cathlic, but the foundation is in place for CU to compete for the ODAC championship in the near future.

I would like to congratulate 5 ODAC seniors who overcame adversity to have great seasons - Marcus Washington (battled ankle injury), JD Ricca (came back from thumb surgery) and Nick Bublavi, Bobby Stutz and Jeff Inman (all missed last season due to off-the-field reasons). The beauty of football is it teaches you to get back up when life knocks you down...these 5 are perfect examples of that...5 great players and great young men...congratulation guys.
(I also want to congratulate Skoal, Llama and abnrgr on surviving another season despite the massive amounts of alcohol you ingested...have fun in Salem)

C'mon Kid...maybe the 3,731 passing yards or the 42 td passes or the 8 ODAC records or the ODAC offensive poy award had something to do with it. Also, the 2 finalist's for the D2/D3 Dudley Award are JD and Jack Martin from W&L.

Way to go BC...keep it going for the ODAC.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody and good luck BC...keep on making the ODAC look good. I say 27-20 BC.

I saw Stutz play 5/6 times...he was a beast in most of those games...I didn't see the CU-BC game...Inman from HSC also had a great year...but I couldn't argue against Stutz...he was the best I saw this year.

Hey Miz...we agree on something...Highfill presents additional problems and if the weather is bad he should be the guy.

On a couple of the bad turnovers that Highfill made deep in our own territory, he looked like a young QB still learning to make the right decisions.  But on a bunch of plays he looked like Jason Lutz vintage 2001 (evading the rush & making plays when receivers were covered, punishing LBs that tried to tackle him, and hitting receivers on the numbers on deep passes).  I like our chances with either QB.  But in the cold (and snow?) that we'll be seeing this weekend, Highfill might give us the best shot.

Agree.  Lewis is a very good qb but Highfill is a difference-maker.
