I went in to make my "homer" picks and the pool doesn't accept Augustana as the champion.

Pat - a little help for the CCIW fans!

I was looking at QOW index. If Augie beats Wheaton (over .667 winning percentage) and MUC beats their opponent (under .333 winning percentage) Augie would likely have a better QOW than MUC. If so, any chance they move ahead of MUC in the seeding?

This weeks top 25 rankings are on the board. Augie 11th, North Central 15th.
Great college football game yesterday in Rock Island. Both teams had a lot of heart and it's tough for either team to lose, whether on a controversial call or not. Bottom line is Augie won and now both teams need to focus on next weeks game to go into the playoffs with momentum.

Usee - Last year the week before the Wheaton game, Roe's throwing shoulder got banged up late in the North Central game. It obviously didn't hurt his running, but did affect his throwing ability (not that they throw much anyway).

I saw the Augie scrimmage yesterday. Padulka looked very quick with good moves, but needs to build up some strength if he is going to take play by play pounding. McGinnis looked solid running the offense, so they should be set for 2006/2007 at QB with him when Roe graduates.
