Good game this past Saturday...BC earned it in a hard fought game. They made the big plays when it counts. It was also nice to meet llama and kid pre-game. Its always nice to meet class-act football fans. I see there are at least a few good people over there at BC.  ;) Good luck with the rest of the season...Hopefully we can get 2 ODAC teams in the playoffs.

Tigers- keep the heads up and the chests out, and play one game at a time...long season left.

One thing I was dissappointed in was one of BC's assistant coaches leading about 10 players out to take a picture surrounding, and on the Tger in the corner of the endzone.  Not a classy move, but with all being considered, I've seen worse.  ...and yes, when you win you can get away with that kind of stuff anywhere I guess.

Hey Pat Cummings-

You're going to be the "joke" when the Tigers win on Saturday...

Ooooh.. but then again Pat didn't almost lose to GC now did he? :D

How ironic ... H-SC won by 2.

haha...just noticed that. Kids always on top of things around here. Just a couple notes about the Guilford game i haven't seen mentioned. HSC had 5 turnovers, 2 fumbles on the Guilford goaline, and an interception which was returned, as well as another pick in scoring position before the half.

but moving on, i'm looking forward to a great game. I feel the same as everyone else on here - which ever D steps up, and either creates a few turnovers or has a couple big stops is going to win the game.

Good luck tigers,

Mizzou-

I agree with you about HSC's schedule. Since I have been around, we have dropped D-1AA Davidson inorder to pick up another D3 team which always helps whether it is supposed to or not concerning the playoffs.  HSC now plays a tough, grind it out Dickinson. HSC has also dropped an 0-10 Maryville team in place of a great Hopkins team. Since Marty has been around at HSC, he has increaed the strength of schedule.

Obviously the lower level ODAC teams dont help the schedule strength, but in the next couple years I can see the potential for a strong ODAC. New coaches, better players, better league. Basically, in the near future, I believe that there will not be any problems with any ODAC team having a weak schedule...

and by the way...i'd pay to see #1 wear a bow tie or pop his collar

Skoal-

I totally agree with you. I dont want to keep talking about it. It's over and obviously BC has had our number in the past. Trust me, I look forward to talking about another HSC-Bridgewater game...you think its fun to talk about getting beat 4 years in a row? HAHA Things happen, there are missed calls every game, and I agree with you that HSC got beat up pretty bad last year. I've never denied that. However, conversation was sparked up again over the HSC-BC series in defense of some of my past teammates and good friends.  No bad blood on my end, I enjoy a little trash talking and I look forward to October 1st when we have another game to talk about, but until then if one of my boys gets trashed on here i'll be here in his defense.

And not to mention the horrible cornerback who got beat deep in the last minute of the game. And the horrible sportsmanship HSC had at the end of the game. Horrible seems like a word that goes well with HSC

The corner did get beat, but was he beat due to a push-off?? Were you there on the field? Did you study the game tape over and over?? I did. And by the way, that corner was a future all-odac db so he obviously wasn't "horrible".

As for the sportsmanship, I was on the field that day and I was there when everything went down. Its funny that everyone speaks of the incident as though BC fans and players were brutall assaulted and jumped, but I remember things going both ways. It takes more than one person, from only one of teh opposing sides for things to get out of hand like that.  Or are you saying that the BC group there that day were all perfect angels?

Miz-

It takes a little more than just one QB to win games. I'm no expert but from what I hear there are 11 players on the field at a time, and up to 50-60 kids can play through out a game. Against BC, many HSC players have made critical mistakes and or blown plays to cause the losses. Dropped passes, penalties, missed tackles, missed extra points, fumbles, and blown assignments on the part of a bunch of different players all have contributed to the losses. I don't understand how you can pin a loss on a single player...

last i checked, football is a team game

sorry to regress a bit but i noticed a couple earlier posts-

Does anyone out there think any other QB in the league could come close to breaking the ODAC passing record while throwing 3 interceptions in only 3 quarters and change?? To pass for that many yards, and throw that many touchdowns while throwing 3 pics is VERY impressive to me.  Most QBs fall apart after one interception, but the great ones bounce back, no matter what defense is lined up across from them..

Tigers - Good luck tomorrow fellas...wish i could be there.

I told myself I would never get involved in posting on this board once I graduated, but obviously i've caved...

To any of the Tigers checking this out, good luck on Saturday. Take care of business, and hopefully I'll get to catch up with a lot of you when the dust has settled...Looking forward to seeing the team in action on the flip side, rather than suited up.

I know that this is a heavily BC biased board, but any HSC guys out there planning on heading to the game, send an email or call.

Good luck to all the ODAC teams this year, I just hope better luck for the Tigers 8)
