kid, what part of back do you not understand. quarter "back", running "back", both players are in the offensive "back"field. Therefore, the offensive back of the year award could go to either position. JD probably won it because of his record shattering passing season, not his rushing. You must have had a very emotional week after having to deconstruct your basement shrine dedicated to M Washington....youll always have the memories!

I was told by a reliable source: Ricca offensive, Stutz defensive, Vogelbach rookie, M.Clark coach.
Weeeeeee, I "called" the Mike Clark (COY) right!
franknizy "called" Ricca for poy, 3 wrs on the 1st team, only one BW rb on 1st. congrats to Vogelbach & Clark, both well deserved

dont forget about josh simpson & his numbers, and his versatility. He has played wr, rb & returned punts & kickoffs. Also, his numbers are very similar tol Washingtons

kid, washington has only played 7 games. Is he even gonna play this week? (Why didnt he play last week) If not, he will mis 1/3rd of the ODAC season. 10 games vs 7, cmon. By the way, those numbers on Lutz were awesome too, but he did have 12 ints that year with far less passing attempts (how many fumbles did he have?) Anyways, I cant believe you chickened out on the bet. Put your money where your post is!

stat boy, ill guarantee you that JD is the player of the year. If im wrong I will post a 100 word essay themed : Why kid is the all knowing D3 guru, i will admit how wrong i was, and i will pay homage to M Wash and the BW program. But, if im right you must issue a 100 word detailed essay as to why JD Ricca is the best player in the conference (with one shout out to franknizy & his knowledge of the ODAC) I know your a gamblin man, whaddya say?

furthermore, in a run happy offense like BWs I would expect some numbers to be a little more eye popping (not numbers that rival h-scs rb in a "pass happy" offense.) Washington is a hell of a player who had a great year. His team had more success than JDs but JD had the best year a QB has ever had in this conference.JD is a more worthy candidate than washington, and so is Bublavi for that matter.

how about the fact that JD had the greatest statistical year in the history of the conference. Also, there are 2 other qbs in the ODAC with more attempts per game. Why dont they have more yds & tds than him? Fumbles vs Ints is apples vs oranges. 1 int every 27 attempts is a way above average stat my stat lovin friend.

kid, those stats are nice, but JDs are nasty. Over 3300 yds & 37 tds are the best in the COUNTRY. Not to mention the records, and the fact that 7 games isnt cuttin it. M Wash deserves some post season accolades, but this award is not one of them.

JD has rewritten the single season record book this year, and M wash has numbers that are barely better than josh simpson. cmon

as for as the player of the year award goes, Ive got 5 guys in the league I would give it to over Washington, what has he done that was so special? BW showed this weekend that they were fine w/o him. Try taking JD off H-SC, Vogelbach off Guilf., or Bublavi off their respective teams and the result would be bad. JD will be and deserves to be poy. Also, my bet is that 3 WRs will be placed on the 1st team (not both BW RBs, just Washington) Just my opinion, but I bet im right.
