Thank you for clearing that up! Again, probably a stupid question  :o

A question I have been wondering about for the past few months.  Pat maybe  you can shed some light on it---How does the NCAA decide the divisional breakdown of the teams.  I saw that UWW has 10,500 students. (D3.com says they have around 8,000, but their website says 10,500)  I also found that Notre Dame has 11,500 kids in their enrollment.  Mount only has around 2,200.  Seems kind of weird. Im thinking that the scholarships have something to do with it.  It may seem like a dumb question, but with the difference in enrollment, I had to ask.

Merry Christmas to all and hope the new year goes excellent!

Wow, the Warhawks of Whitewater pulled it off! This makes things VERY interesting!

Congrats to all of the OAC award winners.  All of the awards were well deserved including OTT's coach.

Forunately for Mount fans and unfortunately for Augie fans is that Mount has MANY more weapons on offense other than Garcon (although he obviously highlights the team). Double him and another will step right up.  Check the stats, they dont lie!  Looking forward to another great game Saturday......I just hope the weather cooperates!

Also...goodluck Cap!!!!

And there are other people besides Garcon on the team.

Hey all....When will they post their projections? Im guessing tomorrow AM?  Also, the OAC has the final 10 game statistics-www.oac.org   I asked this a few weeks ago but it might have been premature:  Who do the postseason awards go out to? Any predictions?

-Cant wait for the selection show!

Now that we are getting to the end of the regular season, does anyone have ideas on who the special award winners for the OAC will be?

It is true having a little more of Garcon would have MAYBE had a bearing on the game.  However the same can be said about Trusnik.  But, Casto was open NUMEROUS times and jorris did not get him the ball.  Also, the O-Line getting OWNED at the goaline at the end of the first half didnt help anything.  The momentum that could have been shifted if the D stops ONU after the blocked punt would have been huge.  As it happened ONU recovered and marched down the field and scored.  Bottom line is ONU was the better team yesterday and they deserve all the praise in the world.  Goodluck the rest of the season.

Kirasdad- Its Casto, not Castro.  And yes I agree with you that no other MUC WR's stepped up. Casto and Garcon compliment each other very well, but someone else needs to step up when one is out.  That didnt happen today.  Also, I noticed that Jorris was really looking at his Wr's throughout their entire route.  Not hard to defend that.  It was too little too late for the Raiders.  Hopefully this is a wakeup call and they wil roll into the playoffs.
Congrats ONU, you were the better team today.  Also, its refreshing to see fans ACTUALLY cheer.

Now that the D of MUC has been analyzed, what about the Offense?

What a game in Alliance today.  Exciting!  Garcon definently has emerged as a playmaker the past two games.  Things have been quiet with Casto, but that's expected after the first two games.  I guess OTT and CAP focused too much on Casto and didn't pay enough attention to Garcon!  You can't cover both of them! These 2 guys are going to give defenses headaches for the remainder of the fall.  What does everyone think about Casto not getting as many balls thrown to him?  Also, Robinson emerged today as a threat along with steady Ibeh.  This offense was dormant for 3 quarters until an explosion in the 4th.  Defense played well as usual.  Esp. Watson with his 3 int's.  Mount was challenged today and overcame it like good teams do. Go Raiders!

Unreal watching the game at Mount tonight.  I think that they showed that this team is no one trick pony.  This team is unbelievably exciting to watch.  The defense played another excelent game.  Can't wait for next week.  Hope everything with Trusnik turns out well.

Ah, the thing that makes me happy is that everyone is concerned about #1 when #24 (Casto) and #28 (Morring) arent even mentioned.  Garcon, good as he may be has good company on his side of the ball.  If the Streaks shut down one WR, the other is open.  As was evident against Wash. U (Garcon-  7 grabs, Casto 9 catches)  I cannot wait until tomorrow.
GO RAIDERS!

ohio- i think that may be one reason aside from the fact that it was the first game.  There were some bright spots as I stated before (def, WR's, Ibeh played well) I think things should come together.  We will see in 2 weeks when they take on JCU, whose defense is always in the top tier of the league.

amonachino- The Oline did not seem to get things going in the game at all.  I dont know whether to say its the first game in a new offensive system or just they didnt come to play.  Both Qb's showed that they can play. Also, the two special players on offense come at the WR spot with #24 Casto (9 catches and many good punt returns) and #1 Garcon (7 catches and a nice KO return although he fumbled)  If these 2 can step up in the future games, as I think they can, this will give way for the pass to open up the run.

Defense played EXTREMELY well......
