not a chance RAMS....
Kean 28 Montclair 7
Montclair has gotten LUCKY this season. By all accounts they should have at least 3 losses. But, their luck runs out on Sat.....sorry it is the end of the road for the Red Hawks.

thanks Dlip... tough hard fought game today by both sides.
I love how everyone says the NJAC is down because Kean won. If Rowan won Maagie - would it be a down year for the NJAC. Remember - it was a 24-17 game with the ball on the 20 with less than 70 seconds left before the QB made a bad read and DVC picked it off for a pick 6. One play away from OT. Instead it lookd alot further off of a game with the score 31-17.
Down year? Why because it's not Cortland or Rowan who is 7-0 in NJAC?
I'm sure Phil will have something to say. Don't say RU should have made the FG in regualtion. How about KU defense holding RU to 10 points in regulation?
Nice job today KU.
Good football game today...period!

dlip- it is sure to be a BATTLE on Sat. vs. the Profs--but I think the Cougars will come out on top. It will definitely be a close game--your prediction is ridiculous....have you seen the Cougars play this season? If the don't make any stupid mistakes they will win hands down.

phil, i don't think i guaranteed anything!!! i simply pointed out who tcnj has played...it is fact....and you know it. kean has played very well as of late, and i am confident that they will beat tcnj on friday---being said, i mentioned nothing about an njac championship. you are very defensive.......maybe you know i am right
worry about your lions------not kean's athletic dept.

dlip---who hadt tcnj played??? buff st, fdu, & morrisville...their record combined is 2-8.....tcnj has yet to beat a team with a winning record and they will not beat kean on friday. i think you are giving them way too much credit.....will get their first loss on friday night.

September 11, 2009, 06:47:12 AMQuote from: phil on September 11, 2009, 12:57:33 AMFirst off - Let us never forget and remember this day and honor those who lost their lives and help support their loved ones in any way possible today. Never forget! Take time today by going to one of the many memorials or just take time at your desk to remember.
Does anybody at Kean enroll as a Freshman and play four years? Is it the 1990's again?
I know I don't get to follow things as much as I would like and I hope all is well with everyone. Today - all of this seems meaningless in comparison - Just my 2 cents -
Phil, you speak as if Kean is only surviving because of transfers and what, no other NJAC school has ever taken transfers into their program? Kean has 65 returners from last years team (out of the 100 man roster). One of which was a transfer last year - Dambrisi. I know your pride is with TCNJ, but Kean has come along way from where it was. According to the roster there are 15 seniors this year listed, which shows growth in many ways. I remember a few years ago there was 5 or 6. I don't expect you to recognize any of the strides made, but you're acting as if Kean is a transfer mill. Come on. Rowan, Cortland, WPU, MSU who has historically taken chances on some transfers, even TCNJ has transfers on their roster - so let's not be so quick to bash Kean (even though I know you will regardless). I would think after watching over the past few years, kids transfer to the D3 level into the NJAC for several/various reasons.
65 returners from a year ago says alot about the program from an off the field vantage point. 2 transfers in two years (Dambrisi/Gwaltney), one of which has proven himself on and off the field at Kean and is only a soph this year, the other only time will tell.
I am sure that regardless - Kean to you is and always will be the red headed step child to throw you know what at...
Best wishes to all the NJAC schools this season.

I have not really stayed up on the conference last year. Just saw the standings and results.
But here we go:
1. Rowan
2. MSU
3. Cortland
4. Kean
5. Brockport
6. TCNJ
7. WPU
8. WCSU
9. BSC
10. Moo'ville (as stated above)
CONGRATS to the Sam Mills family. As well as, MSU for the great honor he received and may I add earned!
They (Administration) at MSU should make the change and call it SAM MILLS FIELD/STADIUM. Just my opinion.

There is absolutely no question the make up of Kean players is different than the old Kean. It is a blessing to finally see that.
Go get Cortland!
