I just want to thank D3.com for ripping my heart out again.  After 4 years, I think I finally forgot the details of the 2005 UWW/Linfield game (total classic game, too.), only to be reminded in vivid detail.

Damn.......... :'(

GO CATS!!! Let's get it back tomorrow!

Before the Linfield game, when Speck was talking to the Bearcat Boosters, he stated (paraphrasing) "this is a continuation of a 72 quarter game, we're about to kick off to start quarter # 48."

The two teams know each other so well after playing every year for 15 years under Speck, I think that's perfect philosophy to have for a coach.

I guess that's better than saying "I'm 2-8 vs Linfield this decade".  Excellent spin by Speck!  :D

Double Bam

Haa!!!! Haaaa!! Love it. Will always remember the Bearcat Tools, errrrr fans that were yelling at us after the '08 game that Linfield fans just live in the past.  Well, since we're back in the semis, then yes, yes we do live in the past.  Of course, that just happens to be the present and future too.

Looks like Speckman can get his a** handed to him by Linfield for a few more years at Willamette. Portland St. going to name Nevada D Coordinator their head coach today.

Damn, the Defense was on it AGAIN!!  16 takeaways in 3 playoff games. That isn't luck, great preparation, instinct and tenacity to get the ball.

Good luck next weekend CATS!!!

Awesome day at the CatDome today!! A little nervous early, but we made the adjustments, picked each other up and moved on to the Quarters.  December football is back in McMinnville!!!

The 3rd Quarter was legendary by the Cat defense......unbelievable.

Crowd should be amped with the students back in session next weekend.

Spirit making the journey from STL which only means the tailgate starts around 7am

Damn, that was fun today!!!  All A's across the board today for the Cats.  Awesome job by the coaching staff having the guys prepared and a gameplan in place to contain an excellent offense. It helped that we knocked out the Z-Man early in the game and it looked like Feaster got hurt too.

Keep it going down in Oxy next week!

Can't wait for the season to start....at least when we beat #5 then we'll be right back in the top15.

Hard to believe it's been 5 years since the Stagg Bowl.

I think it has a lot to do with the lack of WRs that can stretch the field and the QBs with the confidence to throw it deep. With that said, the play calling has been suspect AT BEST. We have to at least attempt to throw the ball down the field every now and then.

A lot of work to do in the off season.........
