RC,

I played with Bob Docherty in the Aztec Bowl and the guy is a beast and very athletic.  He didn't get passed to often but I hated going against him in practice, he was like a bull dozer.  He started at Wis. for a year but IM not sure why he tranfered.  He will definantly be getting looks from the pros.

Congrats to Wes Hostetler for getting invited to the Hula Bowl.  Thats big time man.  I got the chance to play against him during the regular season and with him at the Aztec Bowl, and the kid is for real.  Ive never seen someone return kicks like him, he was makin those big Mexicans look like toddlers.  Good lookin Wes, I know you'll wreck stuff in Hawai

Ric, Thanx for the backing.  We had a lot of injuries this year, not using that as an excuse but come on we went thru 3 different QBs, 5 starting d linemen, 3 O linemen. It was a rough season to say the least.  Hopefully this season will lead to a few changes in the program so we can get back to the top.

QuoteThat is the FASTEST O-Line we faced all season not to mention probably (pound for pound) the strongest.  In my four years that has been the best MUC line that I have played against.

In the past four years that I played against Mount, I think that this is the worst line I played against.  Maybe worst is a bad way of putting it because they are very good, but I remember when I was a freshman going against Larry Kehnard.  That guy abused me and every other end we put against him.  It could be that I was younger and those guys seemed so much older and advanced than me but the line with Kehnard ( 02, 03), in my opinion, were the very best.

Based on my experiences playing against both teams this year...Capital gets my vote, although Mount always turns it up in the playoffs.  It would also be nice to see if another OAC team could make it to the Stagg. Plus Capital didn't hold me as much as Mount, and I had a good time BS'n with the linemen from Cap.

Coch Benny was a great man.  I played for him when he was at BW and against him when he was at Northern.  I was disappointed when BW lost him, but happy he was moving on to a bigger and better position.  He was a big man, full of love and kindness. Coach Benny had a way of walking into a room and putting a smile on everybody's face.  He will be greatly missed.

SeventiesRaider,

I got nothing for you except this question to ponder.  Are Snell's days numbered?  26 net offensive yards.  The Jackets D is still pretty good, especially allowing Cap only 27 points and being on the field for 40 min.  They also have some pretty good players on their D.

I appologize for my first post, I got a little excited and didn't quite think through what I was writing.

It is no secret that BW is having a rough year and in jeapordy of blowing "the streak", but by no means is "the streak" a small accomplishment.  It is a sence of pride that instills the fact that over the past 38 seasons no BW football team has had less than a winning season.  Call me crazy (unless your a mount fan), but since when has winning become mediocre? Ask any Mount fan, player, or ex-player, which OAC team plays them the toughest every year, and I promise you 9 out of 10 times they say BW.

Obviously I am a BW fan (maybe the only one on this forum), so go Jackets!
