When you need to do research on AU, start on this site with Pep!  Hey Pep, how much of the storied 108 year history of AU have you been a part of??!!

I watched the first half of the AU-Brockport game and gave up at half.  I just read the final score about 5 minutes ago and couldn't believe it!!  WOW!!  I'm planning on traveling to the Hartwick game at home.  Hope to see you there Pep.

Does anyone know where we can get the regional schedule?  I'd like to travel to Auburn to see some games, but I'd like to know when Cortland and Ithaca play.

Does anyone know what the pairings and game times are for the regionals in Auburn?

I think yesterday's game shows what a good coach Dave Murray is.  At halftime AU was down 7-0 and the offense hadn't moved the ball well at all.  Hartwick had any number of sacks and continuously harassed the QB.  In the second half the QB was only on the field for ONE play, a 3rd and long.  AU went excusively to the wild cat and dominated the scoreboard and the rest of the game.  A great adjustment at halftime was the difference in the game.  Congrats AU on finishing well with a depleted line-up.
Pep, it was great spending the game chatting with you.  Thanks on the heads-up on Mark O'Meara.  On Saxon Warriors!

Congratulations to Coach Murray on his 100th win as the AU head coach!  In the second half AU went almost excusively to the wildcat formation.  They scored 30 points with 2 wide receivers and a defensive back to go along with only 1 running back left from the depth chart.  The O-line was outstanding in allowing the running game to take over!

The SJF O-line was very impressive.  Their QB had all kinds of time to throw.  The AU D was very good at stopping the run.  Hopefully that will continue next week against Salisbury.  It was good to see you Pep.  Your crew was impressive with little numbers.  Great day to be a Saxon fan.

Bengalsrule, I agree with upstate, your posts show you to be a class act.  As a retired coach of 30+ years, let me make one observation.  I always told my players to avoid posting "bulletin board material" for other teams to read.  At the high school level, we had a regional site (Syracuse.com) that the kids were on all the time.  Buff state's win over WW was certainly a big lift to the players and everyone involved at Buff St.  When Andrew Lovell did his interview with the Buff St coach and some selected players for this site,  you have to temper your enthusiasm when you know people around the conference and country will be reading what you have to say.  Even if you're talking about 22 or 23 year old seniors, they're still kids.  The Empire 8 is an excellent conference.  I don't mean to take a quote out of context, but listen to this quote and I think you'll see the point I'm trying to make here.  "I think for alot of guys", quarterback Casey Kacz told Around the East columnist Andrew Lovell, "they might have been just saying it because other guys were saying it, but I think now everyone on the team believes we really can make a run at the national championship, just as long as we take care of our league play first".  I'd bet my retirement check the AU players read this, even if the coaches didn't make mention of it at all.  It's far too early to make a statement like this when you're in a conference like the Empire 8.  I don't mean to be putting down anyone, I just know how the athletes pay close attention to sites like this.  Good luck the rest of the year.  ON SAXON WARRIORS!!

Hey Pep, I missed you at the AU game today??!!  Watched the game with the Murray girls and said "Hi" to Coach Murray after the game.  It was good to see the Saxons get a W.

Thank you Cardinal Pride.

Does anyone know of anywhere the AU-SJF game is going to be streamed over the internet?  I'd much rather watch this game than any DI game on tv.

The AU players are well aware of Coach Murray's alma mater.  I don't think you'll ever have to worry about his teams "looking past" Springfield.  Watched the game on the internet.  Thanks for the heads-up Pep.  I went through the link posted on the AU webpage and for some reason it wouldn't work.  When I went through the link you posted on the the message board it worked.  Thanks.

What a great day in Mayberry!  The weather was great and the thrashing of SLU was fun to watch.  It was nice to see Pep again, and it was nice to meet AUKazoo.  I'm hoping to catch at least one more game in person, but I'll be following Coach Murray and the boys.  Good luck AU!  On Saxon Warriors!

It's nice to be able to watch the game on the computer.  I'm hoping to get to the AU-SLU game next week.  Hoping to see PEP.  AU just won 48-17.  Is the Liberty League down this year?  UC is being favored by some over Union.  That would've been unthinkable a few years ago.  UC thumped SLU last week (forget the score, I was there) and UC is picked to finish 6th in the Empire 8.
