speaking of dunking, Hanna had a nice dunk against Wisconsin Lutheran last night.

Way to go kohawks today. i've gotta say, i was pretty impressed with BV in the first quarter. They were deffinetly fired up going in to that game today. Coe can't take a whole quarter to get started next week against Loras. If the kohawks get some of their secondary issues worked out i think they'll do alright next week vs the duhawks.

i agree with Charlie, who doesn't like the "IIAC Belt"?

I've been to a lot of Kohawk games at Eby but against Wartburg, that gym was the fullest and the loudest I've ever seen. That Coe student section was the biggest ever.
Props to whoever got that going

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it came down to whose field is nicer, and i'm telling you, Concordia's is 7 times bigger. Their vistitors side is the same size as Coe's home side. Not to mention we lack parking.....

This just in....

Coe plays at Concordia-Moorhead, but they're in the same bracket as Linfield. Oh Joy.

34-14 KOHAWKS!  ;D

I'd write more details about the game but i'm still drying out my clothes

please people, it is extremely unreasonable to talk about someone's job security, especially at a college. I know for a fact that the department that Charlie Kohawk works in is stable, and he is a perfectly fine employee. Last time I checked, I don't think Charlie plays football, so I don't think that it is at all nessasary to talk about him or his personal well being.

Also, I believe that to talk on this board you really need to know about what you are talking about, otherwise you don't serve the others who want to have serious discussions very much good.

qbdriver i'm not really sure what Coe team you are looking at. The Coe secondary is outstanding with senior Tyler Staker. Coe has already been consistent all season. Sure they gave up 173 yards to Jesse Schmidt  but you have to remember that Coe played 2nd team in the 4th quarter. If somehow the D doesn't hold up, Coe still has TeKippe/Suckow/Northern/Rife to power the offence. My prediction: Coe 21, Wartburg 17

I would almost say that Luther and Wartburg travel better then Central. These guys go everywhere.

I completely agree with war pig. If anybody can shut down McMahon, its Staker. I've been very impressed with the Coe senior this season. The kid is a very disciplined player.

Hey has anybody noticed that Coe is the only IIAC team in the top 25 ???  wheres Wartburg and Central?

The dutch aren't the only ones who were playing a little sloppy on saturday. The 14-10 score of the Coe-Luther game could have been more if Coe had avoided costly turnovers and penalties in the red zone.
