Now I see that the World Junior Hockey Final, US vs Finland, is also scheduled for the same time as the other two big events. FYI, there are 9 Minnesotans on that US World Junior team.

Bartch played the last quarter of the previous game. I think their normal starter got twisted up on his last play. Ben looks like he's moving his man around. They're doing a lot of runs on his side.

If anyone is interested, there are some good you tube channels that cover d3. Take a look at D1 Rejects, and d3zone.
I was fortunate that one of my utilities offered a free 6 months of Disney/ESPN+ about 3 weeks ago. I snapped it up. I will not pay for it after the free offer expires.

It will be interesting, but not meaning much else, to see the vote totals on UMU and Cortland after their close victories. It didn't affect the Johnnies much when they had the close call against the Cobbers. Also, and this may be jinx worthy, but having Bethel move up in the NPI would bode well for the Johnnies to get the first round bye even if they stumble. I didn't say that.

A couple posts were a bit skeptical of the second and third string Johnnies. Considering they have not had a lot of playing time, you have to realize it takes a bit to get up to real game speed. Riviere was something like 3 for 11 at the start, but after that, I believe he was well over 50%. He's a Freshman. Other than QB, which is still a question, the skill positions going forward look pretty set. O Line and a few defensive positions will be open, but, it seems like they do have capable backups (Harren?). They did pretty well keeping the shutout.
What do others think?

I'd rather have a good stream and bad announcers than this horrible video and decent announcers.

Are we going to have to put up with this for the whole game. You get what you pay for I guess.

NOT SO FAST Duff, Good drives are overrated. Good shots late are better than good shots early. Two of my many golf mantras.

I think the Cobber announcer was worse. But that's picking nits.

They better leave someone in that 8 - 12 yard zone over the middle. It has been wide open A LOT!
And that one "catch" was Out of Bounds.

I'm going against form here a bit, but, early on in the season, I wouldn't argue with someone that said that there are at least 4 WIAC teams that are in the top 20 teams in the country. Time will tell, and it may be that only 2 of those teams make the Playoffs.

No offense meant to Auggie fans, but I hope we get an extended look at backup QB(s) and O line especially. With all seniors up front, we need to see what the future holds. Looking at the roster, there are some "Big Boys" on the sidelines as well as starting. Hopefully, they are not JUST big.

"Off" for Syverson is still pretty darn Good.
News flash. Syverson is a good QB.
