Former Otterbein qb Matt D'Orazio had another big week in the AFL, passing for 210 yards (21-29) with no int's for the second time in three weeks and throwing 4 tds.  D'Orazio also had the game winning 2pt conversion in overtime to bring home the first win for the Chicago Rush.  There are some nice pics and write-ups on arenafootball.com.  Go Cards!

Matt D'Orazio has started two games for the Rush and lost both, however, the first week they played defending AFL champs the Colorado Crush and lost by 9 and last week with under 10 seconds on the clock he rushed for a TD that was called back for holding which would have won the game.  He got both starts over former heisman runner up Mike Bishop of Kansas State............hes done decent just like in Columbus with the destroyers but they shuffle there lineups so much who knows how long he'll start....

Whats the outlook for Cap next year btw............

Quick vote for coach of the year....

I would have to say that Collins, Loth and Paul have put themselves in position to win this award.  I thought ONU had this locked up but the loss to Capital pushed them down IMO.

Cap.......continues there climb to the top, tough loss to the cards but big win over ONU.........

OTT......finally a winning season? plus win over cross town rival cap......nuff said

ONU....Pulled off the big one.....again nuff said

I would also love any playbooks anyone has to offer.  I am a coach as well looking to learn as many OAC offenses as possible, to improve and diversify my high schools offense.

Just got my new Sports Illustrated in the mail yesterday.  There is one small article in the college football section on the ONU/Mount game.  Just thought you all might wanna check it out.  The actual article is on pg. 79 under Stewart Mandel's Two Minute Drill with the heading Under the Radar.

How does this year's JCU team compare to last years.  I know OTT put a pretty good beating on them last year and I know that OTT is much improved from a year ago.  I think OTT is finally starting to get that feeling for what its like to win and they are playing off of that.  With ONU coming off a big win is it going to be hard to get pumped up for a game against CAP.  I think there's alot of football left and I'll be suprised if they're aren't a few more upsets in the OAC before its said and done.

First time post/ long time reader

1.  Hats off to ONU, not only a big win for them but gives hope to teams in the rest of the league that have been intimidated for the last 10 years.

2.  I take nothing away from Mount and I'm sure they'll still be the top team in the OAC for years to come.

3.  I was not at the game nor have I seen Mount play this year, but I find it very funny that as soon as mount loses it comes down to the coaching.  I'm sure there were plenty of things that Coach Kehres did that "coaches in the stands" find hard to believe but I'm sure Coach Kehres has done these same type things before you just never noticed them because you were ahead by 50 points.  My hats off to Coach Kehres and I have a feeling this loss propels the raiders to win more games in the playoffs than they would have if they had went 10-0.
