Well I havent read about it yet, but Im hoping that they are still doing the MWCTV on the web this year. Getting transfered in a few weeks so I wont be able to watch my Bucs in person anymore. Unless I come back home for a visit during the season. But Im thinking S. Cal weather will be a whole lot nicer than Wis weather in Jan so Ill just watch em on the web...lol. Good luck bucs in your upcoming season. Ill still be watching.

The Roop you beat me too it....Way to go Bucs....a very well played game. Horton was a man today cleaning up the boards....Pat Kenny will be one of the best point guards in the conf before hes done. And yes that announcer was sooooo annoying....It's pronouced Beloi"T". We need to hear the T. anyways Congrats BC.

just watched the ripon/grinnell game on mwctv...what a joke the way that game was called. now just so everyone knows im not a fan of either team. (as many know im big beloit fan but not a lot to cheer about there.) the way that game ended was horrible....LET THE PLAYERS DECIDE THE GAME. i guess the ref could have called that foul as the ball was being batted around after Kellet missed the ft...but to give the tech foul so quickly was wrong...frankly imo i think the foul was a wrong call....actually, again imo, the little bald ref was so so so bad...and almost completly agaisnt ripon. you can certainly understand the frustration of coach G. just a really terrible way for the game to have to be played, the officiating was just the worst. there is no way that either at a neutral site or at Ripon that RC loses that game. and again this is just all my opinion...so im ready for all the GC supporters to justifie the officiating but it was almost totally onside and again that is my opinion, from some one who doesnt support either of those teams.

Pat,

wasnt trying to slam anyone for missing that fact.. i was reminding people that Hinz did what he did. Guess the coaches and school should have known about that form though. I wonder if Hinz knows he's not currently on record as being one of the record holders?

regarding the front page story titled 30-30...dont forget that just a couple of years ago Josh Hinz from Beloit also tied that rebounding record that the young man came 3 short of. Hinz also hot for 50 pnts that as well in a win against grinnell.

be very careful with talk like that.

That's a little confusing isn't it. Caution me then agree with me. LOL. Not sure what I need to be careful about as I'm not making anything up.

j/k with ya there The Roop. i just remember you and i taking crap for suggesting that addmisions played a part in the bc struggles is all. didn't want anyone coming down on you again...lol....

but yes i agree with you. why do theyneed to take so long letting a kid know that they've been accepted. makes no sense. they know whether the kid is gonna be accepted or not. why not just let them know. it will take lots of stress off the coaches and the kid and his family too.

The Roop,

be very careful with talk like that. i agree with you, however, for some reason, lesser profile programs have been able to do better at BC as of late. cross country, swimming,  volleyball.  football and basketball cant seem to catch up and baseball has never been a top caliber team.

im very disapointed to hear about this recruit you know. sounds just like many i have known over the yrs. 6'7 quality player waits 6 weeks to hear from BC and gets addmitted in 3 days at UWW...hmm guess where he went and BC was his 1st choice.

this happens way too many times. I do not envy Coach Vraney the postion he's in. BC is always waiting for that one "better" applicant, so they wont give a qualified student/athlete an answer quickly for fear of losing out on a kid with higher score and grades.

On a more positive note, young Mr Gillespie's performance raise the question of who the best newbies in the league are.

Kenny of BC shows up on the boards and assists. Any observations?

Gillespie is the real deal...he is as good as advertised. Its a shame for Ripon that the rest of the team hasn't decided to match the effort of the 1st yr. What is wrong with Wise. When he was a frosh and soph I thought he'd be a potential 1st teamer. He definatly has the physical talent.

I find it funny that one of the smallest guys in the league is leading his team in rebounding. Its about desire. If Kenny had been 6'1" or 2" he for sure wouldnt be playing at this level. He just needs to shoot better. But ive seen him shoot, and he can stroke it. Just needs to get his confidence level up. Like Gillespi has. No lacking in confidence for that young man. He sure is fun to watch.

watched both bc games this weekend on mwctv as well as switching over to some of the other games as well.

the 2 stats that really stand out to me in the LF game is to's and rebounding. BC actually shot better then LF but were crushed on the boards. Horton did play very well but they have no other insode presence.

Wimmer at 6'8" is a big disapointment.  with his size he should be domintating the boards, but rebounding is about desire as much as anything else and watching him play a few times this year he just cowers away from anykind of contact. he had zero boards in the LF game, that cant happen. when your leading rebounder for the 2 games this weekend is the smallest guy on your team thats saying alot of where the problem for BC is. Bysted is the lone senior and has to step up and play like one. his 2 conf. games have been horrible. only 2 pnts and 6 to's in the LF game and only 3 pnts in the IC game. he should eb scoring in dble digits everygame this year. BC does have a good point grd in the 1st yr Kenny.

Ripon also has a really really good one in the Coaches son. man is he fun to watch. watched from the end of regualtion in the dbl ot game vs knox...he will be something very special before his college time is over.

speaking of Knox...man was i off the mark with these guys. time will tell if this weekend was afluck but i cant remember ever seeing them play this hard before.....quite surprised with them.

GC is gonna be tough to beat...LU might be the one to take em. man when Grotberg gets it going he is very good. he was so cold in the 1st half of the SN but in the middle of the 2nd he hit 3 strt 3's to take the heart right out of SN.

well sure love having the MWCTV...get see em all now..:D

Shame on you d3bbfan for picking Beloit to lose twice this weekend.

Trust me The Roop I hope I'm wrong. nothing would make happier than BC surprising some teams and winning some games this year. As i look at the rosters of each team I honestly cant see any team BC can beat except maybe Knox at home. I am really hoping Im wrong and that Coach V has then playing hard and ready to play. As far as Horton is concerned it's my understanding that even if a player has been cleared to play he can still apply for a medical redshirt. I havent heard if he's playing or not this weekend. We'll just have to see.

Even though I didnt pick 'em ...good luck Bucs
