Usee and Mugsy,
I know that the new O coordinator for Wheaton is going to be Coach Hardy.  Personally I think he is perfect for the position!

I meant "were they".  Everyone on this board has me a little grammatically nervous.

Go thunder...how did they look in practice?  We they clicking like they should? How was the energy level?  Did you hear Swider yell at my brother at all...Scott Ast?  I will be there with you this weekend rooting on the Thunder.  Lets roll fellas!

nccfan1..."not whining"...I call it eloquently bitching.  You say it takes strength to stand up to a wrong.  You sound like a women's rights lib from the 70's. The case may be taken to the NCAA and they will look at it for two seconds (if they are in a good mood) and give it right back. Why don't you take a lesson from cardalum and move on.  You say it takes strength to fight a grievance...losers make excuses, winners make adjustments.  I GARUANTEE the NCC players and coaches have moved on, its not a second thought on their minds...it can't be.  The funny thing is I have no bias one way or the other...I just hate excuses and whining...be a man and move on.  What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.  A team will learn more about themselves and what they need to improve on through a loss so much more than a win.  Frankly I feel sorry for what North Park is about to recieve.

From a completely unbiased perspective...you sound absolutely bitter and what you wrote makes you look like an over emotional fan.  In my emotional anger I have blamed many games that I played in and lost on the refs but when it comes right down to it my teammates and I should have never put ourselves in a position to lose.  Hey good teams playing eachother are going to produce close scores but what about the interceptions, how about the special teams blunders.  Kinda stupid to suggest that the refs actually live in Rock Island.  Bad calls are part of the game...people screw up, just like NCC when they couldn't put the freaking ball in the endzone on first and goal and then they gave the ball up, that being said, to suggest that refs have some sort of motive or bias in a d3 game (and I'm not knocking d3 football, I played in it) but save the conspiracy theory at the NFL and DI level where it would actually make some sort of monetary or national viewing difference.  Everything else just sounds like a losers excuse.  I garauntee the NCC players have forgotten it, they are busy getting ready for North Park and the playoffs...you should focus on that.

to any North Parkers:  You guys are going to use your secret weapon this week right? right?!  Come on guys.  You do have a secret weapon or game plan don't you?!   ;)

yeah and I whole heartedly think that is a piss poor decision...not worth risking the other seniors season at the risk of someone's learning curve... and I know the players agree with me on this one.

just had to mention my bro in there...he is the reason why I would trade my senior year for theirs.

luckily with Wheaton's great defense with hardnosed guys like Kikendall on the line, Grandy in the middle and Ast in backfield...Wheaton may just get the luxury of switching their quarterbacks in and out like that...to be honest I don't think we'll get that luxury against an Augie.  If the coaches still haven't figured it out yet and are in fact going to screw around with switching the quarterbacks in and out lets all hope they get it done and get it figured out in the first couple of series. I think a better scenario than just simply "a great learning experience for Chupp to finish this one out" is for the seniors and the rest of the wheaton thunder to go out with a hard fought victory to carry them into next year.  Lets give one to the guys who are done...I would give these guys my senior year ending in the playoffs any day as opposed to what they are about to get but it can still be very sweet!  Lets go wheaton!

So you must be in agreement with me that Chupp should sit the rest of the year and use it to learn and stay healthy right?  He has at least earned that with 17 interceptions...which is mostly a coaching error for leaving him in past 10 interceptions.  And the interesting thing is that the quarterbacks last year were graded to be picked last year based on a plus/minus program based on each preseason practice...believe it or not Chupp won out on one plus.  That being said they are both great quarterbacks and whether or not you see it as default or not...it has been more than time for Frank's turn.

What info do you have to base on that "Chupp is the better quarterback"?

and just when shepherd started to calm down....thanks zorbadageek...shepherd don't respond.  On that note couldn't be happier to see the Augie/Wheaton game live.  So nothing at all with any conference or any game won by any amount of points by any scenario still would not be enough to give Wheaton a glimmer of hope?  Well anyway...should be a great game...history shows that to be the case...its going to weird to be just a fan though. Lets go Wheaton..."If we have to go down, we go down with bullets in our chests, not in our backs"- Swider

ummm...the underline tab works well

I mean "like I said"

no one is questioning Chupp's talent...but it cannot be said that he is a better passer than anyone with 17 interceptions.  I know about the passes he threw...I was on the field with him when he threw them.  You're not a good reciever unless a quarterback can at least put it in the vicinity of your hands, Chupp did that last year...for some reason not this year...like a said a "learning year" for Chupp.
