Looks like te Cobbs have a great recruiting class coming in along with a solid group of returners. I would say they might have the best team since that star studded team of 03-04.

The Cobbs should have hired one of their many successful coaching alumni and players such as Baldwin would not have quit. The womens basketball team and football team with Rahman and Horan seem to be experiencing some success. They men hired a short term fix with a guy that will not be there in 4 years. They needed to hire a young coach that can relate to the players and has energy, not the same guy that just retired.
I onced asked Glas if he remembered one of his players that played for him at UND and he said he had never heard of him. That same player that he had never heard of is now my assistant coach and received a letter from Glas asking for money. Great PR guy.
Glas was also inititally called as a reference for another candidate that was applying for the job. When he was on the phone with the AD he stated that he may be interested in the job. Nice reference!

Hmmmm....I see all of the D3 players getting shots in the NFL. There is only 1 man worthwhile that has came out of the MIAC with NFL potential.
Im sure we all know who I am talking about.

The real thing that irritates me about the time switch is that I wanted to watch the Concordia games on the live broadcast system next year. We have practice at about 2:30pm everyday and finish at about 5pm. That means by the time I get home all I wil be able to watch is the girls game.
I also have my young prodigy attending Concordia next year and expect him to be the best PG in the MIAC.
I tried to listen to a couple of old games I found on the internet a few monthss ago to relive my glory days but I think my roomates were a little annoyed. So...Blake Stepp and Cory Violette and eat it next year if I get a chance to watch CC online live.

This whole topic irritates me. It all goes back to title 9 and I am always up for a debate on that subject.
The girls coaches and players will not like this change at all once (as someone said earlier) the fans leave during warm-ups. Plus, most people like to have the main event of the night be the last event of the evening. Not, to top off the night with some boring, slow paced, unathletic basketball.
Actually, I dont think the programs should even be connected. The men should have their own schedule and the woman should have their own. It should be played like the playoffs, where the woman would play on one night and the men on another.
They should not shorten the conference schedule, but allow more games in general. DI teams play 30some games every year. This year at Gonzaga we played 33. My senior year at Concordia, we played 26 and made it to the conference semis. Playing more non-conference games would be a huge opportunity for all teams in the MIAC.

Just from personal experience. It is better for all when Nate Ohme does not shoot the ball. One idea is to not even run him to the offensive end of the floor.

This may be retarded, but can somebody explain to me the use of the karma points? How do I get them and lose them. Also, how do I take them away and give them? What do I say to earn them and is there an incentive to earn them?

Actually Keith was recruited CC for basketball, football and baseball and his final two choices for schools were CC and Bethel. I remember coach Siverson talking about Eckoff long before he showed up on campus.

This just in!
Brian Lebsock has commited to Concordia College. He will be one of the best point guards in the league. Brian played on the AAU team that I coached last summer and I have nothing but great things to say about not only his game, but his competiveness, dedication, attitude, and character. He is a great kid and will strive to be a great player in the MIAC.
Expect his little brother, who is a great shooter with the same attributes as Brian to follow next year. The Cobbs are on the rise.

I know Lucier wantes them to play football but they just want to play basketball. They have said that since I have known them. They would be great at both but I do think you have to choose one or the other because the seasons overlap.

I highly doubt the best 7 high school players were on the same team at any camp in MT. I have went to camp in that state since I was a little and there was never a camp like that. I was an all conference player in the MIAC 2 years ago and was not the best player in the state. As a matter of fact I cannot stand statements like that. Another Gonzaga coach and I went to watch a player from MT for a possible recruit and neither team was one of the best in the state and it was made clear that MT basketball is as good as any to an extent.
