I would think that Bosko would say that to light a fire under his team because they just got their butts handed to them at home. So basically he wanted to piss them off. Every team I was on, we would have responded to something like that, so maybe its not just Crazy Ol' Bosko, maybe it has something to do with the players too. Call me crazy but I dont think Bosko has any eligibilty left so he probably doesnt play in games too often.

Since I actually played for Bosko for four years I will put in my two cents: They have started the cciw season without there top scorer and there top post player and have put a scare into 3 of the top 4 teams in the league. I would love to see how well IWU would do without Dauskas and Freeman or NCC would do without Simmons and Walton for example. They are going to take their lumps for a while but get them in now because next year they have almost everyone coming back and the kid who had 30 last night is only a sophomore so he is just going to get better. And Bosko talks about his previous teams so much because that is where he wants this team to get to and I would think that a team that made it to the Final four would be a good example to point to.

Just to chime in on the Redmen, I have not seen them since the summer but in order for them to be a good team they need a lot of things to go right. For example, Mike Hart needs to be as good as the last part of last season, somone needs to take control at the point guard position because it doesnt matter how good the big fellas are if you cant get the ball across half court. And they are going to need somone to take control at the end of games when they are close. That is something that Carthage has had for the last few years going back to McDaniel and Wiertel. If these things dont happen they are going to fight and claw just to get into the CCIW Tourney, which they will have to do anyway.
