WOW!!!!

It's been a while since I've posted, but what an interesting day in the ODAC.  Congrats W&L looks like the D was a little to tough for us today.  Congrats ECH, I truely didn't see that comming but way to go.

It sure was great getting to meet all the BC folks last weekend when they came down.  Kid, Llama Guy, and Olinemom I'm sure I'll see you guys soon.  I might have to come to the Stagg bowl if for no other reason then to get another one of those brownies. ;)  Like I said at the game last weekend, if I got those brownies on a Monday during film, we would have won a lot more games when I was playing, lol.

Wow,  miss a few days on here and you really get behind.  Good Luck saturday BC.  I know yall can beat Thiel.  I beleive yall can handle them like yall did W&J.  So keep representing the ODAC well.  And who said that Ferrum might could beat BC?

Congrats on the win today.

Personally I think the stuff about Lewis was complete BS.  Who in their right mind would actually pst that a player on thier team was hurt b4 a big game especially a playoff game.

Congrats Quakes!! I am impressed beyond comprehension.

Let's upgrade Vogelbach's and Barnett's locker spaces to keep em at the place.
..put in a little cable TV, a fridge, a LazyBoy ... whatever.  lol
I understand theyre putting TV's in the locker next year, plasma with thte ambient light technology.  Complete with full satelite package and NFL sunday ticket so the guys can pick up a few tips.  lol

Thanks olinemom, sounds like ya'll had a pretty rough start, but congrats to your boys on there great season and good luck in the playoffs.  I hope yall have a game somewhere close by.  I'd like to come see one, maybe if they match em up with ferrum still.  I don't completely understand the 3 man front myself, unless there are 4 lb's still in the box, or its and obvious passing down.  I'm a huge fan of a 4-3 D but that doesn't seem to be as popular anymore, and it does have a little more trouble with the high passing O's that are around now.  Anyway, good luck in the playoffs.  Go Eagles!

Just remember - Ferrum can put up 24 points on anyone in the country.   :P
I would have agreed but i just saw the Ferrum/CNU score.  WOW!

Olinemom, Thanks.  We'll need it, b/c im sure it'll be a very good game.  Good Luck to ya''l as well.

duck, I wasn't giving an assement of how well a team passes the ball, but and assesment of how well the QB is protected, and can get the pass off.

Heres some interesting passing stats, you can check behind me if you want kid.

           Att    Sack      %            Att/Sacks

BC      216     10        4.6%       21.3
CUA    535     32        6.0%       16.7
E&H    328     22        6.7%       14.9
GC      418     14        3.3%       29.9
HSC    355     25        7.0%       14.2
RMC    336     21        6.3%       16.0

I think GC needs to be careful. I think the last time they beat EH was about 4 years ago and they have had their number. You know some teams just have match up problems. Team A can smites team B which killed team C but team A gets knocked off by team C. Two of the EH and GC games I saw at EH were in the mud and snow and if a corner slips and falls bang you lose by 7. So if it is a dry field I like GC + 8 but history is not on their side.  OL Matthews of GC must block and block hard. Hopefully Vogelbach does not  transfer to a D1 AA or D2 school. Good luck GC-Q, smite the yellow helmets
You're right, It has been since '01 that GC won the match up.  This game is hugh to me b/c I haven't beaten them since Ive been, plus we have to win this to tie for 2nd, and it is my last game.  Im pretty sure Vogelbach isn't going any where.  If he is he hasn't shown any interest of doing so to us.  It did rain last night, but no effect even on our practice field, which has been reduced to nothing but dirt now.  The game field is unnaffected.  Good luck to everyone this weekend.  GO QUAKERS!!!!!!!

I think you're right muchacho.  The game will be very competitve, and has the potential to be a highscoring game.  I don't doubt CUA will play good but I also have to pick BC.

BC  49
CUA 35

just to keep em both on the 7's

Nova,
I like to seriously get ahead of the crowd, but you're right I probably wont be  then, atleast not on saturday.

Olinemom,
I definately think about it, and I know if I can get enough people to come with me then I probably will, but just tell your boys to go all the way and there wont be aquestion about whether or not I'm going to come.

I'd like to but I also have to worry about getting a job.  Unless I have a team playing in it that I have some connection to then I probably wont be able to make it.  It would definately be good for the younger guys tho.  Maybe I can convince Kesiel to make the trip with some of the guys regardless.
