9-0 vs 9-0. Should be a great day.

A second game against Cortland wouldn't be Cortaca The Event, though. It would not require the same logistics to handle a third of the crowd.
Completely agree. bet it draws much closer to 3,000 than 10,000.

First time checking in all year. Catching up and want to make sure I have this right. RPai wins and they are in, which guarantees a Cortaca V2.0?
Call me crazy but I LOVE the idea of a Cortaca II. Rematch is great for the players and would allow alumni and fans a chance to go without most of the drunken nonsense.

"Cortland would get killed in the E8."
Reading yes, football no.
Wow, that was sad. How the mighty have fallen.

Cortland sent some blitzes instead of sitting back. Excellent job.

IC misses a 41 yarder into the wind. Kicker earlier missed a chip shot.
Announcer: His leg strength is not a question from here.
Announcer: Kick is no good, he didn't have enough.

I missed whatever happened on the punt but a safety occurred and 11-0 Cortland.
Snapped it 10 yards over his head. Wasn't even close.

For the first time ever, the Bomber football fans' ever creative chants of "State School" will be a compliment on Saturday as there will be no students living off Mommy and Daddy's dime at a $55,000 year school whining about how unfair their life is.
That's a completely dishonest and arbitrary assessment, but sure, allow an athletic rivalry to cloud every iota of your logical processes. There are good jokes and bad jokes, this was just inane.
Settle down. With all the stuff that has been said, printed on t-shirts, and said in person to opposing fans in the Cortaca rivalry, this is the one that bothers you?

I was just hoping it's not as nefarious as I read into it.
If something is truly nefarious, you wouldn't have to read into it, it would probably stand on its own.

The mid week pep rallies at Ithaca look awesome! For the first time ever, the Bomber football fans' ever creative chants of "State School" will be a compliment on Saturday as there will be no students living off Mommy and Daddy's dime at a $55,000 year school whining about how unfair their life is.
That shows a staggeringly ignorant viewpoint of what's going on at Ithaca right now
As staggeringly ignorant as believing one school is better than another because it costs more?
Look, the post was made tongue in cheek and was meant to be a joke. Didn't think it was funny? So be it, but to think that statement was anything other than a jab at IC then you are nuts.
I never said I knew exactly what was going on. I have a rough idea but as Bombers pointed out, I am sure there is a lot more under the surface than what is being reported. The joke was not meant to make light of any serious issues but rather the fact that for years (joking or not) Cortland has been painted as a college of uncivilized neanderthals while Ithaca has painted themselves as a progressive college that is intellectually and socially light years ahead of their athletic rival. To see the opposite play out was humorous to me.
As I said earlier, I can take you not finding the joke funny but acting like I said something awful is a reach of epic proportions.
