What am I thinking!?!?!?!?!  forgot about this...

Additions/Subtractions to the all-time WIAC team (if they haven't already been mentioned).

Additions:
LB: Maslowski.  He wore the mohawk before it was trendy like it is now.
CB: Scott Amond.  Could cover and stick cats like Rod Woodson.
DE: Talmadge "Bing" Kimmons.  Ran the 40 barefoot.

Subtractions:
DBs: Teeples and Bell.  Always felt they were overrated.
RB: Cody Childs?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion I guess, not all of them are very educated. I know that ww spent our week worrying if Cody was going to break our back. He was a pretty good counter to their passing game.

Teeples had some really good games as his career went on. I know he did really well on certain plays against Derek Stanley. He is not going to win every time against a guy like that, he is NFL talent.

And Trey Bell, I don't know what the OC's were thinking when they played him. But you cant name one receiver in his last two maybe three years other then Scott B of lacrosse his SR year. That had more then 2 catches on him in any confrence game, check the game film, the eye in the sky doesn't lie. If I am wrong, which I could be. There is always one or two games we forget, let me know I will apologize to that WR. And I thought my brother was forgotten, thanks Old School lol.

This was not an opinion that i made. This was stated by the Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, and the NY. Jets regional scouts. This was not something that was written yet but those are the words of their scouts. You can doubt it if you want, i didn't day it just listened to it be said

Ok..... WW must people a really good team for us to be comparing them to a NFL team.  They just can't be a great d3 football team, with great talent? Denver's offense cant perform with out the rush, that is not the case for WW. If that is the case then why why did WW have two "2" WR with 1000 yds last season, and several TD. I don't recall anytime when Denver was a 50/50 pass to rush offense. The only similarities is that they are both a zone blocking team.  If we go back two season this same offense couldn't score if they had to, most of the time (well at least nothing like the past two seasons) you are right about the coaching staffs. WW has the best Defensive Cord. in d3 period, the smartest Offensive Cord. in d3 (not always the best at game calling), and a great strength coach. Stout does seem to missing some key components on that roster and the coaching staff. I am not saying that the before mentioned players are not any good, but starting over Beaver (2000yd rusher) Stanley "top 10 WR in the draft this year" coming from NFL scouts. Is just ridiculous. I know all three of those guys i spoke about personally, and have no foul feeling about any of them. I didn't bake cookies with any of them just share a drink or two.  Their talent I am not trying to speak about lets just say we will never know.  8)

To touch the statement about Stanley moving to Stout, you are crazy to think that 4.3 speed 40'+ verticle and crazy athleticism would be a no name. If I remember right D made his name on Special teams to start his career (All American track and Special Teams). There is no one ever in d3 to have the talent including all players in WW history) that has the abilities of this kid. He would be known by the nation even if the team was losing.

The two guys are Booker Stanley RB from UW, and WR/DB cant remember name. but I think it was best they didn't come though Booker would have made a huge contribution on the field. Like before poster the cohesiveness is great right now, so lets keep the team together as is NO additions.  ;)

Lets be honest here, Ryan E. would not see the field at WW. Rob W? Does he have any knees left. Jesse W? what are his stats over his career, and lets not blame it on injury. He is a big muscle but not a good WR. I don't know the LB but if you look at our LB core I don't think there are any better in this conference.  This is not saying that these players aren't good. Just stating that they made a wise choice not to go to WW. They have gotten a lot more playing time because of that. Stout is getting dominated right now, WW has to much to play with this being Bob Brez. day to shine. I hope all the best for the rest of the season for Stout and WW.

P.S Rob if you read this your still my boy blue..................

If my memory serves me correct, your Stagg bowl winning teams in 02, and runner up in 03. Could not stop us from getting a 100 yds rushing, and wed were completely one dimensional. Why do you think you could stop a better RB in a better offense? Is this team better then those?  I don't think MUC D is going to be able to stop the UWW Offense.

Earlier there was a question about the comparison of Linfield & MUC.  I don't think there are many similarities except they both have a good history.  Linfield is a very dominate team on the back of Elliot; if you can't gun sling with them you don't have a chance.  They are very one dimensional, but their passing is exceptional and it was to our weakness, so it definitely gave us fits. I think MUC is not as scary on offense.  Last week we allowed our first 100 yd rusher and that came on our third string D in the forth Quarter.  And as we all no the weather was crazy and to stop a scat backs 1 offense vs. 3 Defense is really hard.  I think if weather is decent their run game will be absent.  Their Defense seems to be their true strength of their team, so we will see if they are able to stop the beav from chewing up 200 yards.  I know they don't have to power to stop the fabulous four completely; Derek and Jimmy will still eat up 100 each.  MUC chance to win this game is ridding on the D if they can stop us from scoring 20+ they will have a chance.  We all know they will not be scoring 40 on our D their just that potent in the right positions.

We seem to have a lot of confident posters in here on behalf of Wesley.  I am surprised I thought you guys might be talking S**t like St. Johns and Linfield  ;). It looks like this is the same as every other week, except those teams had something to brag about.  Those 20...something odd sacks that Robinson has is a sign of how week your competitions is all year.  Not to say that the kid isn't good but that is a lot of sacks for one man to have.  The week before St. John played us one of their DE had 7 1/2 sacks; against us he may have had one.  Now if your team was traveling to WW with Elliot as your QB then maybe I would worry about the 600 yds we almost gave up last wk.  But since you're not how about we look at what our D has done to other QB's. We rank 27th after the St. Johns game and 22nd before in passing Efficiency.  Our D has not allowed a 100 yd rusher all yr, so there goes Nelsons few yds.  I would hope that your QB can wrestle up some magic before he comes to Perkins Stadium, it would give you guys a better chance.

In regards to Derek S. speed if you got a chance or heard about the St. Johns game. He had two or three different times where he completely separated himself from the DB when the ball was in the air.  If Wesley wants to go into this game thinking that speed doesn't kill then go right ahead.  I know that he is going to embarrass a few people.  Not only can he run fast but his vert is 38+ inches. Can we all say WOW together?  I know D1 numbers, how fortunate we our.

p.s for all that do not believe I have been with him as we trained with Charles Woodson, Kevin Barlow, and Marcus Trufant and witnessed him run a sub 4.3. His cousin holds an Olympic Word Record in the triple Jump "Kenny Harrison" it's in his blood to be a great athlete.

We can brag about how good our offense is but our D is not to shaky themselves.  You will be forced to put the ball in the air, cause the D has not allowed a 100 yd rusher all yr. Your QB will have the most rushing yds.
