headin up to Alfred tommorrow to watch the Bombers!!! really excited about this game and Id really like to see the Bombers O firing on full cylinders...i dont think we have really see them reach their full potential...i know AU's defense is pretty good but I would like to see IC put up 200 yards rushing and really put together 60 minutes of solid football...

do people actually think Hobart is the best team in the region?? Please someone give me an argument defending that claim...because i dont see it...i think all 3 E8 teams, Wilkes, Cortland, and Rowan are better teams than Hobart...not to hate on the LL...but i havent been that impressed...i mean the only two "quality wins" they have are against Dickinson and Alfred...and yet they struggle with teams like Merchant Marine and Worchester Polytech...maybe im missing something here... someone explain this to me

just got word Cortaca tickets sold out here at IC...sold out in two hours...no word if they are getting more....wow...that was fast...

good point...i dont mean to be losin my head here but i think it would be an absolute travesty if SC or IC or SJF were left with a 9-1 record....so who do i have to root to lose in the coming weeks, outside of the e8?

OH NO!!! im not makin ithaca proud because i think they should make the playoffs with a 9-1 record!! haha please...and i know it would have been a different game on turf...but even so SC was not winning the game on any surface....regardless thats the past....and i dont see why all 3 (SC,AU, and IC) cant make the dance if they all finish with one loss...

so who should i be rootin for (besides whoever SC and SJF are playin) in the final two weeks so my boys dont get screwed?

we would have beaten springfield on grass, turf, mud, lava, and ice....our defense wasnt going to be denied on saturday....dont get me started on Bart....when they struggle with teams like WORCHESTER POLYTECH AND MERCHANT MARINE....please....i can understand the Wilkes argument...but cmon...im an ithaca senior...i really cud care less about being unbiased...and u cant tell me the NCAA's...if ithaca beats SC, AU, CORT...that they are gonna keep them out of the dance....

a little late with the post but...wut with it bein halloween weekend and all and nursin a hangover all yesterday....i think i can be excused for the late post.  great win bombers...one of the biggest ive seen in four years here.  Congrats to the defense...i think we showed we are not the same team that gave up 34 second half points to st john fisher....hats off to coach raymond with an outstanding defensive scheme...puttin kiah and scalice at the defensive end spots...worked great.  

as far as the three-way tiebreakers go...honestly if IC wins out (knock on wood), theres no way they can be denied a playoff bid...i cant be bothered to read that LONGGG post explaining all the QOWIQIWOQIWOQIWQ points....so ill take ur word for it that ic might be on the short end of the stick...but if they beat alfred and cort.....they wud be the best team in the east at that point....no argument...so its hard for me to sit back and think if we finish 9-1 we are not gettin a playoff bid...so im not too concerned about gettin screwed that way....

I AM more concerned about my buddies not gettin jug tickets...sold out in 2 hours here at IC...wow...thank god i live with two football players otherwise my buddies from home might roll me down SOuth hill...

i think the boys come to play tommorrrow...no doubt in my mind.  No way the IC defense is having another performance like they did last week.  My roomates said practice felt like a playoff week, no monkey business.  Bombers by 17

oohhhh man....been waiting for this one.  Even though I agree with the argument that Fisher v Ithaca isnt a "rivalry," its going to be one hell of a game.  Theres one matchup that I am excited to see: Fishers O Line vs Ithacas D line...last year, (correct me if im wrong), Fishers running game was able to move the ball pretty well.  But this year, we have a healthy Phil Byers, and are running the 3-4 with plenty of athletes at the linebacker position.  Ithaca, traditionally, has always prided itself defensively on being great run-stoppers.  Should be one hell of a battle up front.

Goin up to Fisher round noon, drink few beers, then Sunday hittin up the Bills game!!!  Should be one hell of a weekend!!

Havent posted on this site in about a year....current student at IC.  Really pumped about this team this year..(not that IC doesnt always have a team to get excited about ).  This defense is revamped, the 3-4 really works well with their personnel.  Having Blumenauer at LB, and Stephens and Terlecki all on the field at the same time...man theres some athletes on that defense.  Something i think we were missing last year, we have playmakers all over the field.  There seems to be a different attitude with the defense this year, i happen to live with two bomber defenders (that i will leave nameless), the focus is there.  These guys are confident that no matter what 11 players are out there, they will make the stop.  

The one thing i would like to see is it a bit more of a pass rush from the three down lineman.  I understand its harder with the 3-4 to get a rush from the DL alone, but that would really take the pressure off our secondary, esp this weekend when you are facing a quarterback like the one at Hartwick.

offense gets it done as always, i see the Hartwick blitz-happy defense getting picked apart by DJ, throwin for at least 250 yrds.

This team is focused and ready to go...lookin forward to Saturday!!
