I'm sorry but I have to add Keck #29 to that mix of Linfield receivers.  So I will change it to the Mt. Rushmore of 03, 04, 05 Linfield receivers.  Wildcat11 brought him to my attention and I should have known better because he is from Puyallup, WA and they have produced some great WRs in high school football for the past 20 years.  No disrespect to Keck or anybody else.  I just wanted to put it out there to see what other people had to say on the topic.
Spirit86 it was a honest mistake and it's all good now.  Hopefully they will give Brett some snaps in mini-camp so they can see he can play.  A lot of times the 3rd string and beyond barely get a chance to show anything.  But let's pray Brett gets to showcase in preseason early on.

Which of the 3 Musketeers(Carter, Allen and Hazenberg) Linfield receivers do you like to watch play?  I'm going to start it off by saying I think they all have skills!  I  just like to watch Haze the most.  He does a lot of things when he gets the ball in his hands.  On film he looks quicker and he has a nose for the endzone.  Some guys run good routes, have great hands but there are select few that can do something after they catch the ball.  It is something you can't teach so when I see a player with that ability I get excited!

Wildcat 11 thanks for the update on the video.  Catdomealumni.com is fun to watch and it makes Linfield look like the greatest show on field turf in college.  I also like the Linfield Legends tape with the galloping ghost RB.  I always saw his name in the record books but never had the chance to see him play.  Can't wait to see what is next!

Congrats to BE he obviously deserves the free agent signing.  Spirit where did u hear that Whitehurst is being possibly looked at as a WR/DB?  He always play QB at Clemson and he runs a 4.7 40 yard dash!
I doubt if Langsdorf had anything to do with Brett being signed.  Has anybody heard about Allen?  I think Brett might get allocated to play in NFL Europe so he can show that he can play against better than Div III talent.  Has anybody heard about the QB/WR/RB situation for next season?  It looks like this senior class graduates a lot of talent on the offensive side of the ball for the Cats.

Does anybody have an update of the Linfield vs. Willamette game?

The NWC was on the NAIA map for sure but we were new to the NCAA in 99 and Div.III didn't respect our NAIA powerhouse conference history.

I agree with you PLULUTE2CLU.  Before 1999 the NWC was barely even on the map as far as Div.III football was concerned.  The bulk of the Div.III schools are in the midwest and east coast.  I live in the midwest and trust me they STILL think that the best football is played in their backyard.  I won a lot of money last year from my alma mater because of all the non-believers.  By the end of the season nobody wanted to talk football with me anymore...especially with my Linfield Athletic poster hanging up in my office.  Teams of the SCIAC keep your head up and keep knocking on the door of the Div.III powerhouses until they let you guys in!  If it wasn't for PLU blowing out teams left and right in the playoffs in 99 the NWC would still be in the same position.  The sad part of the whole thing is the NWC usually has 2 or 3 teams that could compete in the playoffs but we usually get one team in.  Then those two teams end up bumping each other off along the way.  I saw the WIAC and the MIAC up close and personal last year and the west coast is stronger than both of those conferences.
