Word is Labuda is going to apply for the job.....in my mind that would be hard for UWEC to turn down he would have so many connections throughout the area and the state and he is a flat out winner....I think they will be a middle of the pack team next year but in coming years I expect them to work their way back to the top.......In EC we usually seem to have a pretty good QB Rassmusen,Hendricksen,and Kryz so I doubt we will be hurting their next year, I expect Kyle Paulson a 6'4 180 sophmore to be from Amery,WI to take the job over

As a big EC fan I have to give Gibbons credit I did not even expect for them to compete in conference games this year with the players that they have, but like buf said these guys are all over the floor working hard playing tuff D, its like they are taking the us vs the world role and seeing what they can do with it, I expect to see them upset a few teams this year. They have two solid players in Ryan and Bardon both are sophmores and the bottom line is Gibbons needs to recruit better if he wants to be at the top of the WIAC

Yeah Bardon from EC does travel quite a bit when he gets the ball his pivot foot was staying on the floor but it slides all over the place even when he just stands their.....none the less he did have a pretty good shooting nite and took the ball to the rim very well.........Werner had a spectacular dunk to start out the game he recived the ball at the 3-pt line and drove by his defender looked like he was gonna lay it in and just put it home.......EC is going to have such a tough year they have no one who can play in the paint at all Birkel seriously the worst player to watch play ever he cannot play basketball at all......Beyer will not go and play in the post and he seems kind of like a baby......and Vetterkind is only 6'4 and is a tweener....In the Leader-Telegram it said Eau Claire only had 9 paint touches in the first half
