Way to go WW!! Stanley looked like a man among men in the first half, I think only like one ball was incomplete that was thrown to him, and all 4 of his touchdowns were on great catches, Look out for #2 this year!! Also our DLine looked great!! Looking forward for the season.

Congrats Mount Union
If you take out the 3rd quarter this was a really close game on both sides. I could have a million could, shoulda, woulda things i could say about the game but ill put those to rest.
Going into the game i really didnt hear anything of your WR Garcon! he had a few great plays today as well as Kmic rushing and i think even more his catches set the tone of the game.
The comeback in the 4th quarter was exciting but it was just to little to late, but it gave me a little hope for a while.
Congrats to Beaver on the rushing record! even though ppl keep saying its in 5 more games thats still alot of yards in a season and you cant take that away.
Heres to next season!!!
Hopefully WW can reverse the outcome

Great Season WW
It was a great ride and the future looks good with the team next year that can even be better.
It was nice to see Beaver break the rushing record, and he still has two years left.
It hurt to watch WW lay an egg in the 3rd quarter!! To get multiple chances in the red zone and come up with 0 points is painful. That is the determining stat of the game(if it was Mount Unions DFence that stopped or WW's Ofence that didnt convert, that is what won/lost the game) Personally i would have wanted WW to run more on 1st and 2nd downs in the middle of the game, but i was just sitting in a Lazyboy in wisconsin, so im sure there was a reason for what they did.
Good Luck Next year Whitewater!!
Congrats Mount Union (We will get cha next year!!)

As for mount union defensively
First i would not recommend blitzing every down and have 8 in the box as WW has a great line(big reason for Beavers yards) and Jacobs although not a burner on his feet is fairly mobile and has had pretty good success completing passes out of the pocket on roll outs.
Second i would not focus on just the WW passing game either as then Beaver will have a big day.
I would have to say that they have to focus on both run and pass on almost everydown. That is Mount Unions best chance to be successfull. Ive heard some talk the last couple weeks from St Johns and Linfield that they will stop WW's offense, and at the beginning of the games they do a fairly good job at doing so but as the game wears on it has become harder for them to do so and our offense opens up.
Should be a great game on Saturday

So i was doing alittle research on the NCAA website and i was looking at the D3 record books and I saw that the season mark for rushing was 2,385. By my math that would put Justin Beaver with 2,295 yards rushing currently just 90 yards from breaking the season mark.
I havent heard any talk of this to date and if there was i missed it. Do playoff games count in the records?? is my reasearch correct?? is my math correct??
If it is true that he is only 90 yards from the record why isnt this getting any publicity(maybe im the first/only loser to look that up so far), thats a huge number, and he is only a soph!!
Go Warhawks!! One game left!!

I just want to say that all the UWW coachs were already getting ready for the 17th right after the Wesley game. They dont take any time off and are the hardest working coaches in d3. I dont for a second think that this Whitewater team will be unprepared, if we can go to Linfield and win there, our coaches can get the team ready to play anywhere. From everygame i have watched them this year they just seem on a mission.
The test for MU will be if they can contain both UWW pass and rush. For a team with both a 3000 yard passer, 2000 yard rusher, and 2 1000 yard recievers, i dont know if there has ever been a more balanced offence. plus with the defence being solid all year, with a great d line, linebackers that fly across the field and secondary that are always in the right spots.
Hopefully the game on the 17th is one for the ages as Mount Union(the experienced program) takes on UW-Whitewater(the new kids knocking at the door)
Good Luck to All

quick question ... i heard a rumor after the game that Wesley didnt have the right shoes on??? Honestly this was going around whitewater im not joking or anything!! If there is any truth to this Wesley needs to fire its equiptment manager, 2 loses over the wrong shoes, come on this is wisconsin in December!
Other wise Good season Wesley, from previous games you showd that you deserved to be in the Semis. Wish it could have been a closer game, but i liked the outcome, even more so after sitting outside for 5 hours in the Wisconsin cold.
Go Hawks, BEAT MU

Congrats UWW
What a great game to be at, I froze my butt off for 5 hours and it was worth it.
I heard some rumors that Wesley wore the wrong shoes again(not joking, some people were actually saying this) if this is true, the equiptment manager from wesley should be fired, this is wisconsin, it snows in December!!!
It just seemed from the start that one team showed up to play and the other just to show up for a game! ive never seen a game start with the first snap end up in a safety.
Go Beaver, Go Kleppe, Go Jacobs, Go Stanley ... Go Team what a win what a day to freeze my butt off!!

WOW!!! do you really believe that, i have heard some talk of Wesley's speed and since i dont know much about them i will take your word on it, but come on!! Whitewater is pretty quick itself, we have real quick linebackers, and a DLine that had been solid all year. Plus our Passing and Running game on Offence has been great all year 3000 yard passer, 2000 yard rusher and 2 1000 yard recievers.

A good 6 inches of snow fell on WW tonight. the true wisconsinits were out in force at the fine drinking establishments here celebrating our hawks. just showing that if given the oppertunity we can all shine in bad weather, hope the Hawks can do the same next week.

UWW WIIIINNNSSSS
44 - 41
Great Game Sounds like Elliot had a good game(should see him on Sundays), WW's D did the greatest D in a giving up 41 points ever(Well maybe just had big plays at the right time). Beaver sounded good as did Jacobs.
On the radio the crowd was real loud so on the field it must of just been intense, so winning there is huge.
GO HAWKS The Victory Snow Is Falling In Whitewater!!!
