Ah, yes.  Already a "trash cat" reference on Drake Nation.  Originated from a UST cheerleader, no less.   

Somehow, I'm not expecting a rivalry with St. Thomas unless/until they join the Missouri Valley.  That could be a long wait.

Many of you know that a rule change is under consideration to let any D-III do this.  In fact, that change will get a NCAA vote next spring.  Only condition for moving up would be that a school would have to be invited to join a D-I all-sports conference.

What D-III schools would want to move?

Drake has apparently bought out the game with La Crosse in order to play Northern Iowa in Des Moines.  Sorry...wish it could have been a day other than Sept 22.

It looks like Drake will play both Platteville and La Crosse this year...not sure about venues.
