It is a done deal Jim collins will be named the new Head Coach at Saginaw Valley State univ on friday.

Just heard that from a candidate that interviewed also and he was told late last night from the AD at Saginaw.

just heard from a very reliable source that Capital Football Coach Jim Collins will be offered the Saginaw Valley State Football Job later this week after he meets with the president .....................Stay Tuned........

Heard Tri-State hired a local High School guy with No DIII recruiting experience at all. Was also a indoor football league coach.

Heard they paid him $48,ooo and gave him two full time assitants that will make $25,000........

Dosen't sound like to much of a commitment from the administration to turn things around there.

Scott Pethel from the University of Buffalo has accepted the Head Coaching Job at North Park.  He is on campus today accepting the job and talking to the assistants to see if any are going to be retained or not.  Has a D I background but did coach at Adrian College back in the 80's.
