Thanks for the info, it appears they've really come together as the season has progressed. Is that FG% Defense or Opp. PPG?

I've only seen Gordon play 3 times, and they were all early in the season, but they seemed soft. I was wondering if anyone has seen them lately and tell me if they've improved considerably throughout the season, because I have been hearing quite a bit about them early.

Does the committe take momentum into account (i.e. 4 losses to end the year)? Does it benefit to end strong, or is it stricly numbers?

I would just like to say that WPI doesn't seem to get the respect they deserve. Everyone, myself included, tends to look at the faults of this team, instead of their strengths. I'm very aware they've played some not so good teams to the wire (WOR ST) and lost two games you wouldn't think (CLA & WHEATON)they would, but anyone who sees them play immediately knows they're loaded with talent. They are 18-2 and have beaten two current top 10 teams, WILL & SAL ST. I just think that they'd be a fan favorite if they had snuck up this year, instead of being expected to be a national power. I think this is a legit team.

Like to see the North Shore native Ryan Flynn drop 22 for WPI... wonder why Cain only got 7 shots off

Wonder if you guys think Springfield could make a run in the newmac tourney. After a horrendous start this year, they have won four straight including a 20 point win over Endicott. Also, they've played WPI, Amherst, and Tufts very tight; and took Williams to OT. Granted, they'll probably have to lock up with WPI early, but I wanted to know if you guys think this is a team that could run the table and get in.

No surprise here as Bridgewater ran over MCLA 97-62. BSC had five players in double figures, paced by Derek Thompson's 21 points in 21 minutes. BSC improves to 6-3 in the MASCAC.

Worcester state got a hardfought overtime win, 77-71 over visiting Framingham State tonight. Guard Ryan Hopkins scored 26, and big man Winfred Rambert had quite a game for himself with 20 points and 19 boards, 11 offensive. Junior 3 man Derek Wigman dropped 26 for the rams, playing all 45 minutes. Senior captain Tony Washington added 14 off the bench. WSC improves to 5-4 in the conference while FSC slips to 3-6.

Westfield took care of salem state in salem tonight, 88-73. WSC came out storming and led by as many as 20 in the first half, before going into the half with an 11 point lead. Junior pg Gavin Illangakoon exploded for 39 on 11 of 16 shooting. The spread was cut to 6 with about 9 minutes left, but westfield pulled away down the stretch. Westfield is now in sole possession of first place in the MASCAC at 7-2. Salem fell to 6-2 in conference. Eric Downie dropped 20 for the vikings.

Springfield looked good and got a nice win over Clark by 15. Swingman Derek Yvon broke the school's alltime scoring record with 29 points to put him a little over 2000.
