What a great game at Loras last night!!! Whether you a DU or a DuHawk fan it was a competitive matchup for most of the game. Both teams got after each other and the officials were not a factor... Congrats to Dubuque and Coe on their wins last night; and good luck to all the teams in the semi-finals!! ;D

What a great game and great atmosphere at Eby Fieldhouse last night. I have to admit..,. as a fan of DIII basketball that this was one of the most exciting games I have seen in some time. It was a gutty effort by both teams! I did think that Coe got outcoached at times, but their athletes made up for that misgiving. I also have to say that it may have been one of the best officiated IA Conference games I have seen in quite some time as well. I can't say enough about how much fun it was to watch. I wish there could have been a bigger crowd from people in the area..., they definately missed out!!!

KNOX/MONMOUTH GAME
As someone who gets to a couple games in the Galesburg area, I found the Knox Monmouth game last night to be an exciting game to watch. I thought that it was a hard fought game by two teams who really didn't start off shooting very well. Both teams had opportunitites to win the ballgame, and I believe it was tied with 1:30 or so to play. It was a great atmosphere.., too bad that isn't the type of atmosphere that can be in every gym everynight..,. and the stripes really did a nice job, one of the better I've seen in quite some time. I think that Monmouth has improved, and Knox seems to do just enough to get by. It will be interesting to see how these teams finish out here in the next couple of weeks.
