frmr3db-played at elm 00-04. your right jaybird does know his ec football. I have a bit different perspective on things considering i have been in the program as opposed to being an outside source. coming from the defensive side of the ball, it wasnt much of a transition. Nichols and kryzkowski where fulltime with krohn and now with journell, both outstanding football coaches. I believe elm will be very solid the next couple of years.

jaybid, just want to help you get your facts straight. Kryzkowski and Nichols have been there for 6 years and Lizak has been there for almost a decade. Lester was an outstanding coordinator and is now the qb coach at w.michigan , he left elmhurst because he took a d2 head coach job.

Jaybird- what upgrades have been made on the coaching staff?

rank the cciw head coaches (all great coaches), my opinion based on prestige and where I believe the cciw is headed.

Washdup, i think your right, the big 4, little 4 is no longer existent. Wheaton and Augie are the favorites to win every year until they have made the consistent drop that iwu has made and milikin is on the verge of making. I have just a few thoughts on the cciw for next year. Augie- graduate all-americans, replace with all-americans. losing tom anthony will hurt their secondary a bit, but they didnt seem to be set back from graduating spezjnowski in '04, so i dont think it will be a problem. Wheaton-they where not as physical this year as in the past, need to get back that mentality. Studebaker is a freak, but they are missing a dominant LB. Chupp-Chupp, and Black are also very talented on the offensive side. NCC-missing the presence of Radtke will downgrade defense immensly. Even if spencer leaves, their is still a lot of talent on offense, but kniss will not be putting up the numbers he did this year. ELM-every returning defensive starter. Brady is a dpoy canidate, and Kudyba, with a year of experience will help out the offense tremendously. Carthage-defense should be solid. Fox needs to live up to the hype and they need to stay healthy if they want to contend. IWU-Dunlop is a talent, but not much of a supporting cast. banks is graduating on the other side of the ball. Millikin-the only good thing i can say about them is wallick. they MIGHT win 2 games in confernece next year, depending on the outcome of the iwu matchup. NP- graduating rotenberry, harris, and a new coach will send them from bad to brutal.

hello post patterns. I'm new to this and thought I may reply to the last few posts. First off, spencer should not be allowed another year. I cant even belive they are challenging this. He played an entire '02 season, over half of '03 wth IU and then two years with ncc. Sounds like 4 years of eligibilty have been used. Unfortunate thathe was injured, but according to cciw rules, if the injury occurs after the 11th quarter of the season, then a red-shirt may not be awarded. A ruling in ncc would be bad for the cciw and unfair for past players who have lost eligibility because of similar circumstances. Yes, he is extremely talented and may have the oppurtunity to continue his career at another level. To jaybird, wallick is GOING be a sr. and if u forgot elmhurst beat milikin this year and besides one big run in the 4th quarter, he was a non factor in the game. In '04 he played very well against us, but it was shephard and brown who beat ec in '03.
augie, elm, ncc, and wheaton will be the leagues contenders next year
