Hows everybody doin this year?
Alhtough I will still be following BC basketball, along with a roommate who is the new student SID Crew head and asst. Basketball Coach, I have released of my position at BC as Student SID crew head at the beginning of this semester. Although im kinda outta the loop now, I would like to hear the opinoins everyone has of BC's new squad and administration. I personally believe the program is being run into the ground, which could be stated about every BC sport, this would be the third Director of athletics in three years here folks, as well as the Dir. of Ath. being the head mens basketball coach. Frasier and Neal have been the only retaining Ath. staff over a three year period here, c' mon. They get rid of Ramsey, hire a head football coach that ran his last program into the ground, Baker sadly retired, and expect their AD to play double duty as the mens BBall coach, whats going on here?

BC needs some help but their not outta there yet!

Im glad to se tht BC is not completely out of it yet, I think our guys could make a great run at this final stretch. they have a lot to topple yet, They have to play hard and win-out and still hope for a couple top teams to drop one or two. Ill be rooting for the guys all the way.

Also, sorry to hear about Hoggat that a big loss. How long will be out?

I think if BC could get better post play out of Smith and lamsargis, meaning better shots and a couple more rebounds, BC could try to turn things around, but is it to late?

Eureka_SID,

Glad to meet ya and what a game it was. Tarpley has my vote for POTY. This kid has great size, strength, speed, shooting. He pounded it inside all the first half then takes the initiative to go from behind the arch to rally his team back into it. Every shot Tarpley took seemed to have a magnet on it as it found the bottom of the hoop a lot when it counted. I think If EC could find another man for a 3-man rotation between Tarpley and Richard EC could be pretty dominant in the SLIAC. I was wondering why they subed in for each other, but hey big guys need a break. Both seem like good athletes. Maybe #3, dont know his name, could fill that spot and give you guys a lil time on the floor with both of them out at the same time. They seemed to work great together at the beginning of the game. Ill post stats later today, I left them in the office.

BC Update

Not only did BC lose to LCC an put them extremely behind in the conference but Leotis Howard is officially off the team. Howard was asked to leave campus earlier this week due to a social issue that cost him a game earlier this season. Im not sure if he got to play in the LCC game or not. What a huge blow for BC.

Blackburn SID  -  what's your impression of Howard?   He's had some big number games, but as witnessed with the Westmin game stats, at other times he hardly shows up?   What do you think?

Howard is a great athlete, he still has things to learn and with a little help from the players around him could turn into an all-conference player. His only problem is ball movement, when Howard is on the floor BC turns into an immediate offense. WIth no ball movement and a fluid movement from side-to-side they turn to taking shots in not the best situation.  The decrease in stats is strictly this, when Leotis steps on the floor there is an immediate double-team or over precautious defense to his side, which is deserved due to his ability to score points as seen in the first couple games of the season. That would be my guess of why hes not on the floor starting every game. If Zeb or Allan could get hot to force defenses to stay honest, All three of them could have amazing years, but the trouble still is to get two or all three of them on the same page in the same game. If all three of these guys were to get hot at the same time, I would easily call them the best 3-man set of the SLIAC. This is not a "Talk Up" and I am curious what others think of him as well.
