i noticed that the W & J defense gave up 21 points ( 14 actually, the O gave up a pick 6 ). id say that is an improvement... looks like their getting better. maybe there is hope! are the running a different defense than in years past?

Congrats mount union... i wouldnt want it any other way. WWW is a great team, and with all great teams the game will be won up front on both sides of the ball. i have no doubt that MUC will take care of the line of scrimmage. but just for fun, mount fans, or any d3 fans for that matter... if you could put together 4 starting D-lineman, and 2 back-up using any player that played at Mount from the last 6 years, who would you pick?

does anyone think that Mounts DE's might struggle against a tougher playoff schedule? They have been very good in the regular season, but haven'y had the great games that MUC ends typically have. IMO, they have lacked the production of the past ends (I.E. Campbell, Carter, Veuchlich, Stickley, Braur, Josef) I think they have relied on their DTs, and rightfully so, Im just wondering if they will beable to create on their own if they need too...

congrats to trusnik... sounds like hes doing a very great job for himself. he represents the DIII family well. any thoughts on what matt campbell or justen stickly could have done if they tried or were given a chance?

forgive me if you thought i meant that these guys could get drafted. i dont think that. i do think however that lewis has the size and skill set to play at the next level. stickley odviously couldnt play on the dline, but could move to an OLB spot. he is fast and quick enough. and plays well in space. again, if these guys got a shot on the field with a team i believe that they could make it somewhere.

TAGS... dont be fooled by the size of stickley. he is very capable of being a run stopper. he is a large reason they are only allowing 25 yds a game. playing the run from the weak side of the D isnt easy. but then again, SJF wouldnt be the first team to try and do that. looking forward to a great game on sat.
