I have heard Brian Nelson from Rockford on this job.
I live in Chicago and have heard his name for this one and the Elmhurst job.
Not sure why he is looking at leaving Rockford has started to build a pretty good program.
Any other names out for Lakeland?

I have heard Lance Marshall from Franklin and Brian Nelson from Rockford as two names thrown out for the Elmhurst job.
I have looked into both of them and both looks like have had success, Nelson a lot of success at Uw-Stevens Point and some recent success at Rockford.  Marshall some success but not a lot recently.
Has anyone else heard anything else?

How is the scheduling going to be in the new conference

I saw an article on NCAA website about Chapple from Aurora, does anyone know if he will throw this weekend?
I would love to watch him throw.

It also looks like a crazy race for the conference tourney in the NIIC.

Any predictions for this weekend?
RC vs AU
Ben vs Clarke
EC vs Con

Who do you see winning this weekend.

AU vs Benedictine

Rockford vs Eureka

Clarke vs Concordia

I see AU and Rockford winning all 3 and Concordia winning 2 of 3.

What 2 ranked teams did they beat?
It goes to show that Carthage will not be able to put games together again, same story for this school

The NIIC does not have an automatic bid this season, because of the departure of Dominican.
The NIIC now falls under the Pool "B" bids.
7 Pool "B" bids for the 2006 season.
These schools that qual. for this are schools in conference with less than 7 teams, (NIIC 6 teams) and independent schools throughout the country.

I saw Rockford split this weekend.
Rockford 2, UW-Platteville 7
Rockford 7, Westminster (MO) 6

Clarke opens on Tuesday

I have read the post on Stevens Point's self-report to the NCAA for rule breaking, what else is new in the WIAC.
My son played in the WIAC and the top schools in the WIAC all stretch the rules.
So please do not just call up Pat Bloom from Stevens Point.
And yes he has kept the winning tradition going at Stevens Point.
I think it should be a good race again in the WIAC but don't forget about Platteville, they have improved

I am going with Rockford over Aurora and
Benedictine over Concordia.

Should be two good games.

I think the home-court will prove to be very important in both games, close games but home team prevails.

Here is my pick for the conference.

1. Rockford
2. Aurora
3. Benedictine
4. Clarke
5. Concordia
6. Eureka

I am also going to say that both Rockford and Aurora get NCAA bids.

What do you think?
