Will Brandon Crawford slow down anytime soon?. And why does Hope need minorities it seems like their doing just fine without them Cramer is close enough for me
and Alma isn't doing to good a job at keeping them.

answers to picks
Hope: best team top to bottom (most players on bench would start at other schools) with a former MVP and possibly the best 6th man in the country (if cramer doesn't start)
Calvin: Great shooting and a moster shot blocker in the post. Always plays great team defense, coast through season then turn it on during tournment time
Albion: Leagues best offensive post player, good point guard and shooter on the wing. But can they get Crawford the ball.
Olivet: tall wing players provide mismatches(Pruitt). tallest team in league, new offense should make team exciting. File would have made them a lock in this spot.
The Zoo: hard nose point guard an average but tall center, and a good but not great scorer on the wing.
Adrian: not enough help for Collins, and who knows if Lewis is going to play. Not very skilled in the post.
Alma: Barnes may have a sophmore slump without Jones to draw double teams. Murphy will be there best player but doesn't have any defense like the rest of the team. And Kohtala is still the coach.
Tri-state: subs never get into a rythme and if they do they come right out the game

Does anyone really think a K-zoo player (Kyle Konwinski) will win MVP. How is this guys going to put up 30 a night when he has no team , who jumps their scoring by 21 points in a season, the Zoo will be lucky to aveage over 50 as a team. and Collins is a good but not great player I would rather vote for Mike Lewis for MVP (if he even plays).
Yes philips has to have the ball passed to him, and it will be from the best PG in the league (not my words).

Crawford is a beast but win not be the MVP. The MVP will come from Calvin or Hope, My dark hourse is Josh Meckes for MVP because he plays well on both ends and will gobble up a lot of double-doubles with a few monster blocks. The Favorite is Andy Philips he's won it before and Hope will lose no more than 3 league games. (probable only lose 1 at Calvin) Crawford will have good numbers like Jones of the past but his team will not be the 8th ranked team like they are picked to be. Albion is very vunerable to lose to any team this year. and for the KID its not that I'm obessed with Jones' game I'm just not impressed by yours! (you have a big body and don't use it to your advantage you bail out defenses by shooting terrible 3 point shots)

Ok the Barnes kid was alright but not really a help to Jones he just took away some of Jones good shots for bad ones. A kid, I'm just going to put this out there that you must be Barnes guessing because of the name Sag as in Saginaw and the fact that you say your a player. or Clarkston. So lets be real kid you guys are not going to win the league and everyone has a career game against Tri State. I do think you can be a great player (but not as good as Jones) if you where at lets say Calvin. This is a dissucion board so I can disscuss what ever I want kid. If your coach sucks he sucks. Eddie has obviusly not put in the hours to coach a team. Why can't he get players to stay? answer that and he is the reason Alma is a laughing stock of the league. The best players and the least amount of wins anyone else see something wrong with that? And Jordan led the bulls to the playoffs so what is your point? Barnes leading scorer maybe, playoffs NEVER! (in the kohtala era that is)
and you do give a 2 cents because you responed!

Alma basketball is sorry bottom line. You guys had the league leading scorer for two years and he got no help from anyone. Kohtala is a terrible coach ( I was at the Olivet game) Tell me when do call time out when the ball is already in your best players hands. Alma has lost too much and not brought anything in. Unless Jones is back (which I know he isn't) you guys can have fun trying to beat the Basement dwellers for last place. Good luck with that #23 kid at center can you say CHOKE!
