Then as we see often in other coaching vacancies, the candidates who didn't get the job, "pull" their name from consideration.

I find it had to believe that Tharp wouldn't take the job if offered and it almost certainly has nothing to do with having a full time assistant coach.

A little breaking news this off-season. Trost is gone. Will be announced in the next couple of days. Can't say where. I'll just say you all will be surprised if not shocked. Most will consider it a step back.
