I was thinking about this point the other day because after reading the Witt preview it makes it seem like the Tigers are a very young team. I would like to differ to an extent. 1st off at QB we are young but the brumfield kid at least played some last year and there is also the transfer kid. We have three o lineman returning with all three being seniors. The tailback is of course coming back along with our fullback(who I believe should get the ball a lot more). WRs are a spot we are VERY young at, but at least we have one senior starter returning. D line we lost a lot but have 1 senior returning. LB we have two starters returning(3 if you want to include Philips who started our first three games) and at DB we return a part time starter from 2004 in Brumfield but we have three senior safeties(two all conference players and the other a starter in 2004 which should be interesting to see how they use the 3). Anyhow that team doesn't seem to be too young, any thoughts? And how "young" are other teams in the NCAC this year?

TU I agree. Wally and all the rest of the Wabash followers I don't know why year in and year out(at least the last couple of years) you guys cry about the fact that we mention we are a good program, get over it because we will continue to do it. If you have read the outlook it really doesn't come out and say that witt will be amazing this year, to tell you the truth after I read it I felt that we will have a rough time winning the NCAC. And basically your post saying that we are a laughable team, did we not almost beat Wabash this past year with that team? GET OVER THE FACT THAT WITTENBERG IS A GOOD PROGRAM, Wabash is a very good program too and you don't see us crying about them saying they are going to be good next year.

I don't know about everyone else but I cant wait until Sep. for some football. My thoughts are that the NCAC is most likely coming down between Witt and Wabash again this year, but there will be no looking past the teams. I believe Wooster will be a lot better with their healthy qb, but that won't be enough. Allegheny will be MUCH improved and will make a strong run but again I don't think they have enough on both sides of the ball. OWU will be okay again this year. Wabash has a lot of talent coming back on both sides of the ball, and so does Witt so I think it is going to be a battle. Just look for Witt's D to come out a lot stronger this year and of course Murray is coming back with a solid O line, but the qb stop is a question. Any thoughts on the coming up season?

I never said that he ended up with any D1 offers, like posted earlier it would be insane to give up a D1 scholarship to go DIII. But as I was getting at Huffman sounds like a very good recruit for Witt, so I was just sharing with everyone.

Just heard from a very reliable source that Witt landed Aaron Huffman QB, to lead this years' class. Wanted to play QB and the big schools wanted him for defense. And heard Collins is doing well too so should be a fight for the starting job.
