It's the truth Wally.  Face facts, if they were good, they'd be on scholarship.  Why can't you see that.  It's fun to watch, great to be there, but it's not on tv.  If the Bash were really cookin', GameDay Live would've been in Crawfordsville for the Allegheny game.  Be real, it's not ignorant, it's the truth.  If one of the kids on any of these rosters had been offered a scholarship anywhere, they wouldn't be in the NCAC.
Quit fooling yourself or quit acting like you know football if you can't come to that conclusion.

The post may be mediocure, but it's clearly the truth.  I'll get back to work and let you gentlemen continue to indulge in your high level conversation.  It's difficult for me to interact with such esteemed representatives of the respective fine colleges.

In response to lbennett, the NCAC not only was created to provide equity for womens athletics but also to provide a home for schools that had a very similiar academic evironment to include selectivity.  While you bash Kenyon and say they dont have a place in this discussion, let us first say that they do.  First of all, the schools that you mention dont hold a candle to Kenyon academically.  Look it up.  They aren't nearly as selective as Kenyon but they compete with them under a false premise.  Witt, Woo, the Bash, you really just need a pulse to get in, that's fine everybody needs an opportunity, but if they aren't with the academic standards that the league is supposed to stand for, go back to the OAC or the HCAC and play with the other folks who dont necessarily care about academics to the extend that schools like Kenyon do.  Secondly, these teams have won the NCAC sure, but in recent times, they've won NOTHING on the national scene.  NCAC's supposed best team played Capital a few weeks ago and were summarily embarassed.  What's the big deal, I dont see why there is such a discussion because it's obvious that all of these teams are mediocure at best when compared to the elite in D3.
Lastly, if a kid is going to any D3 college because he's a "football player" then in all likelyhood he's an idiot.
If you've really observed D3 football you'll find that those kids are there for the experience, none of them can really play.  If they could, they'd be on scholarship somewhere .  In addition, you'd see a whole lot more of them on Sunday's getting paid.  They'd be better served to go and get an education and develop their skills for life, like those kids at Kenyon do.

No smack, just the facts.  What I'm saying is that most of these teams are evenly matched, give or take one or two guys.  I just don't see any of the coaching staffs in the league shaking in their boots because they have to play somebody in this loop.

Why is it you think the team at Kenyon is in such a bad situation because they have to play Wooster.  From looking at them last year, what's the big deal, they're just another average football team.  Who do you really think is scared or "oh woe is me" because Wooster is on the schedule.  Didn't Kenyon beat them last year on Parents Day at the Woo?
