The knock on D3 football has been there have been few kickers that can win a close game by making a long field goal. True or false? I have seen more misses than conversions. Anyone ever see a winning field goal at this level? Dont they recruit kickers?

The knock on D3 football has usually been there are few kickers in D3 capable of winning a game on long field goals. True or false? Anyone remember a kicker winning a game with time running out? I have seen more unsuccessful attempts than game winners. Does D3 not recruit for that position?

Exactly what did the Raiders practice this week? They looked sloppy on multiple occasions. Wartburg was a worthy foe. But I thought they were better prepared for us than we were for them. Is a week enough time to correct what ails us? I thought our defensive scheme made a better than average team look better. Plunk was running out of the pocket all day. We gotta block better than that.

The playcalling was predictable, that let BWU back in the game. Where was the rush? Putting the offense to bed early and banking on the defense to win the game puts alot of pressure on the defense. If nothing was learned today, then it will be a short playoff experience.

The starters played longer in this game despite the sizable lead. Were they working on something for next week, or just getting ready for the playoffs?

It is the defenses job ( responsibility) to stop a a score. If they fail how do you fault the offense?

132-4-1 is the record of nfl teams with a +5 turnover ratio. The Browns account for 2 of those losses as well as the tie. At lest they are a statistical leader in some category. Sheesh. When can we find an Oline worth their wages? Thank God there is good football to watch on Saturdays.

Final
UMHB 91
Albright 7
Caruso thinks UMHB is pathetic. He could've easily found 9 more points to score.
So wheres all the chat about UMHB being a poor sport by running up the score? How does Poorman NOT get in a blowout like this? He had to play. The whole bench had to play. Did they kick any Fgs on first down? Step out at the 1?

Concerning the fair catch on kickoff rule, does the rule state that a kick that makes contact with
the turf and goes 10 yards cannot be faircaught like trick onsidekicks were? If so, teams probably drvekick the ball through a gap and still give up less field position. I know the rule is injury driven but you can just not field the ball and let it go for a touchback already, or let it go out of bounds. Im not in favor of this rule change. How bout you?
