Was not happy about the selections :'(
I hate how they try and balance the picks out between the teams.
I hate to say it, but I don't know if anyone on Hamilton would start for Trinity or Williams...so why?

Great season for Williams...the offensive production was amazing!  Trinity will have a good chance of retaining the title next year.  We were to young to beat Williams this year.  It will be interesting to see how the post season honors shake out.

I grew up in one of the most rural settings you could imagine...surrounded by a National Park.  I love nothing more than waking up to clean air and beautiful scenery.  However, I have to say that when I was playing at Trinity I liked the feel of the stadium, the campus, and the fans!  There is an attitude that comes with playing in that stadium...you are in a city and you adapt that type of stigma.  The fact that Hartford could be considered the arm pit of CT does not affect the campus of Trinity.  I would rank Trinity 3rd on this list....with Middlebury and Amherst infront of them.

Most of the other teams in the league do not have a community feel close to the fields...the fields seem seperated from the rest of the school.

Can't say for sure, but I thought visiting teams were stuck in the field house?  That has plenty of room.

Middlbury likes to cram you in a small locker room.

I did not like Williams field either

WOW....The showdown between Herst and Trin this weekend is going to be amazing.

Hamilton proves that Williams can be slowed down....and with Amherst playing them in the final game of the season I still think there could be a two way tie for first.

Congrats to Wesleyan.

As previously noted...Williams is walking through the rest of the season...Amherst may be the ONLY team that could stop them.

I more than anyone would like to see Williams lose...but we can watch and see what happens until the Amherst game...

Not saying anyone os going to roll over.  When you strat winning games by large margins the confidence usually carries you through the season...also, other teams are looking at these guys and saying "How do you stop them?".  The only team that will NOT cower away from Williams for the rest of the year is Amherst...sounds harsh, but watch the scores in the coming weeks...could be ugly for their oponents.

Williams will get their 8-0 season this year.  The seniors on that team certainly deserve it if they get there.

Mariner:  I was referring to the 03' game.  We won 26-3...I think?  Anyway, I think this weekend should prove very difficult for the Bants...so don't think I am expecting a blow out, but until Tufts wins this game they are still average.

I had predicted that Wesleyan would be a much improved team...They have a solid defense this year which will help them win at least 3 games this year.

Amherst has been one of the most TALENTED teams athletically over the past 5 years...but somehow they always seem to drop a few along the way...is it coaching?  Who knows....

Middlebury is the suprise of the last decade!  I have no idea how or why they are good?  I know the QB has some experience...and it is apparent that the Defense is VERY good!  One of their defensive ends has 9.5 sacks!  How is that possible...is he that good?  Answers would be helpful.

It was predicted that the streak could end this year...we do not have an experienced QB or offensive line...that usually means you will have trouble scoring.  The biggest dissapointment is the Defense...I think the last time we gave up 40 + points was when I was a freshman (Priore's first year)...and we were HORRIBLE!  Is it leadership?  Heart? Skill?  I don't know, but they better figure it out or they might finish at 6-2 or 5-3 on the season.

Hamilton is Hamilton....but their perfromance v.s. Trinity was impressive.  Imagine if we lost that one!

Tufts has yet to impress me...3-0 does not mean anything.  They were 3-0 my senior year and we went into their place and beat them senseless.  We had much better talent, but the rest of the league thought they were a heavy weight at the time.  This week will be telling.

Williams is BACK....they have talent, desire, and senior leadership.  They will be tough to beat at home, which is why Middlebury should lose their first of the year.

Bowdoin, Bates, and Colby are having a rough start.  I would have predicted these three teams as the most improved out of the league....I just don't get it?

Well thats my take on the start of this year....when the dust settles maybe Trinity will be able to sneak out as co-champions...I hope.

I like the aggressive picks!  I don't think you are to far off excluding Amherst.  If Middlebury pulls that one off it is the second biggest win of the year in the NESCAC...we all know what the first one is :o

Can someone within D3football.com kick this loser off the board?   >:(

The only way Williams, Amherst, or Trinity will not finish 1,2,3 in the league...or tied for the league championship is if injuries begin to plague a specific team.  Imagine if one or two of Williams offensive starters gets hurt...that would throw them way off line.  It will be interesting to see how the year progresses.
