looking forward to CNU coming into the NJAC, which should be one of the premier conferences in the nation, enjoyed traveling down to watch Rowan play at CNU years back ! Great Season !

Yes DV is for DelVal , but they were the years we couldn't buy to many wins, things started to change in the 80's for the football teams, wrestled there as well, we had some great wrestling teams in the 70's.

Yes, and over 300 teams wish they were still playing tomorrow, Hobart has nothing to loose !

Good luck Wildcats, a discipled game will win this one for you, My son played a semi final game out there a few years back(10years or so) for Rowan, it was a long flight home to Philly, he still talks about the game as the hardest hitting team he's ever played, at the time they had quite a few D1 & D3 on their schedule. Enjoy the east coast historically this is where it all started.

Wesleydad, I've been watching Wesley off and on this year, and think they are a stagg bowl caliper team, Like Rowan of old, will be happy to have them in the NJAC maybe it will force Rowan to step it up ! Good luck this Saturday I'll be watching this and others on line !

I posted the outcome on how they did it a few years back on the page back, Rowan wins not because they are necessarily the best rep of the NJAC but because the head to head scores against each other, of course they have to beat TCNJ !

Some thoughts on Widener DelVal game, I have not had a chance to see DelVal play this year but did get to see Rowan play Widener. Rowan and Montclair are pretty even and each having lost to their MAC opponents this year. I know it was the first game of the year, but Widener being the recipient of 6 interceptions and 1 fumble were unable to put Rowan away until the final 3 minutes of the game, the last interception they took to the house. Rowan is basically a one dimensional team, unlike the teams of the past. where as DelVal is multidimensional, and as noted by one of the previous posts Widener has been suspect to the pass. I was impressed with the Widener coaching but if DelVal can exploit the secondary it should be an exciting game ! I'm picking DelVal.

Agree, I believe Morrisville would have the best chance in the dance, they have the potential to light things up and create some big momentum.

The way it worked a few years back in a three away tie was head to head scores against all teams in contention, Rowan beat Morrisville 31-0, plus 31 Rowan, Morrisville beat Montclair 38-20, plus 18 Morrisville, Montclair beat Rowan 20-16, Montclair plus 4, Rowan wins by 13 ! I'm not saying its the best way but the same process left a 9-1 Rowan out of the playoffs, the other two were in! One as the NJAC champ the other at large. All that being said who knows what criteria will be used in the conference this year ?

Yes back in the 70's when it was hard to get a win, I may be a little bias but seeing Rowan play Widener with 6 interceptions and 1 fumble, I think DV should have the advantage but of course thats why they play the game.I expect it to one of the greats. Son played at Rowan 2004-06 so I was a little spoiled.

So does that win for Morrisville place Rowan in the drivers seat based on total points against tied opponents ? I recall a few years back when three were tied for first place and Rowan lost out on that criteria ?

I agree with Wesleydad, Salisbury played a mistake free game last week, teams that get it together at the end of the year when it counts, are the teams that go deep. Last week, they came out early to take the lead and let their defense take control. Widener has struggled early in games and have worn defenses down in the end, it seems to me Salisbury defense is pretty deep and defends the pass well, I'll go with SU !

Great win for the gulls ! I've attended most of Rowan's games this year, and was very impressed with SU defense. I haven't seen to many teams able to shut down their passing attack this year. RU receivers are pretty good when the ball gets to them. Widener obviously has a great QB, I've watched a lot of their games online, but I don't think they've seen a defense or offense like SU. I stand by my original post, the winner of Rowan -Salisbury game goes onto Alliance with nothing to loose and a lot to gain !

Wesley Dad, I haven't heard about Bianchini being out, I do know Eisenhart WR and Dorsh RB will be playing ! Second string QB is transfer from Rutgers I believe he's a pretty big guy, although not season tested and young. Will be traveling down to Salisbury for this one. I've watched SU online and have seen most of Rowan games, I think this one will well be worth the ticket price with the winner ready to make some noise in Philadelphia next week and I don't know if Widener could stop either team..........My thoughts !

Congrats to Cortland, My nephew caught the last pass that was called back for illegal man down field, they went over film 3 times and wide receiver acknowledged to official of his location and tight end was flagged, he was in the same location as last three plays, tough way to end the game. it was exciting to the end, I think everyone got their money's worth, good luck with Kean.
