Congratulations to both Ursinus and Dickinson on their seasons. They both finished against a couple of tough teams, but certainly leave something to build on for next year, for both them, and the rest of the CentenniAl.

Wesley has a lot of team speed. Very fast defense, and very fast on the offensive side of the ball. The Robinson kid is an absolute monster, and Lanouette is a very good receiving TE. Warrick is an athletic QB who throws a nice deep ball to playmakers in the outside. It's going to be a tough matchup for Dickinson's defense. I don't know if they have played anybody this year with the amount of team speed that Wesley has.
BearFan is absolutely right, they may need to rely on their defense early and often to keep them in the game, and grind it out rushing the ball to keep Wesley's high powered offense on the sideline. A special teams play may make the difference in this game if its close. If it turns into a shoot-out I don't like Dickinson's chances. But it would definitely be nice to see a Dickinson upset.

I would like to apologize for that...apparently no one is allowed to comment on anything that they haven't seen personally.

I see you got the point of my misspelling. Perhaps I shuld of misspelled moor werds fore ewe.
Yeah, nice try, but I'm not buying it.
I'll admit mine was a mistake. I never really used the word Centennial much, outside of talking about the conference, and never really paid too much attention to how it was spelled. So an oversight on my part.
But at the same time, it took a misspelled word to get a reply from an administrator in this forum? I've been trying to talk about the conference games each week, with little to no discussion from anyone else. I've moved across the country and have been trying to rely on D3Football.com as my unbiased D3 football news source, and I can't get anything. However, I misspell a word, and all of a sudden the conference is at the top of the south region topics all day.
Oh, and I get a -1 karma point apparently for getting called out by an administrator. All in all not too bad I guess, other than probably going to -2 now.

Perhaps members of the more-academic-than-though Centennial Conference should be able to spell Centennial ...
Well played my friend, well played....

However I think you meant "tough," not "though" but I could be wrong. Or maybe "thou." "More academic than thou," would work as well. Then again it could just be a typo, and I'm just babbling for no good reason, because if you tried to correct everyone's speech, grammar, and spelling on Post Patterns, one would definitely go crazy. Maybe you guys should add spell check to D3Football.com, then this wouldn't happen. I don't know, just my two cents.
Either way kind of ironic, or is it just bad luck, that Alanis Morisette song screwed me up on that definition.

See, the Centenniel isn't the gunga ga-lunga conference, so they have that going for them, which is nice...I guess.

Muhlenberg made it to the second round the one year, don't remember which year, maybe when they had Bernardo and Shay?

Parity in a BAD CONFERENCE! Dickinson - playoff week #1 and BYE BYE! Centennial Conference needs to go back into the MAC - still the old EGGHEAD EIGHT (oops Swarthless gone - egghead seven). Sorry!
Apparently the Centenniel is so bad that MAC teams are jumping to their conference....interesting thought process here, but I don't quite follow this. But hey, lets see how it plays out.

Real shame they lost those two games earlier in the year, could have been an interesting last game for the outright championship.
Week 6 and 7 aren't early in the season.
In an 11 week schedule, week 6 and 7 would classify as earliER in the schedule than week 10 and 11...but then again thats just me, what do I know....apparently I'm an egghead

Anybody have ANYTHING to say about the last week or so?
Well, personally I think big props need to go out to Ursinus for their convincing win this week. Hopkins looks like they had a nice solid win over Hamden-Sydney, and McDaniel continuing dominance over the Mules. Congrats to Dickinson as well, first outright conference championship in quite a few years.
Gonna be some battles in Week 11, to see who is going to finish 2nd-7th. Plus a good chance to see some kids who haven't played a lot of the year. Hopefully Ursinus can make a big enough impact against Dickinson to earn an ECAC bid for the conference. That Dip passing attack has just given them absolute fits recently...
Congrats to Dickinson, passing another big test to their legitamacy.
Ursinus also picking up a big win over Hopkins (but then again I'm happy anytime they lose)
Anyone go to the batle of the 'b(e/u)rgs? What happened to Gettysburg? Beat a good Ursinus team one week and then get absolutely trashed against Muhlenberg...
Parity once again reigning supreme in the Centenniel...well from 2nd place down.

Yeah, it was definitely a good win for McDaniel today. It's a type of game that a young team can look back on as they gear up for the final stretch run of conference games. All three of their wins this year have been ones where they can build on, and never count themselves out. I'm sure the defense was absolutely flying around as they held RMC to -2 total yards after half time. Definitely an improvement on last year's embarassment at RMC.
