I'm a UW-L ('91) grad, and I've been following Indian.. ooops, I mean Eagle football for 20 years. Are these scheduling difficulties a recent development over the past few years or so? Do all the upper eschelon teams in the WIAC have the same scheduling challenges?

Thanks, Bill. But how do you post a new topic? There are nearly 4000 replies under the "WIAC" subject line. Seeing the popularity of the board (140K views), I don't want to have to sift through endless pages of postings to see the conversation relative to my postings.

Short of contacting the University itself with my question, I thought I'd start on this board (this is my first post, besides coming here would be more interesting than calling the school).
Does anyone know why UW-L has TWO bye weeks? And of their nine game schedule, only THREE game are at home? Who's responsible for this inequity? It just doesn't seem right. I'm more curious than upset.
Looking forward to another great season of DIII football!
