Im going to go out on a limb here and say that Cornell could contend for a national title this year, making one of the greatest program turnarounds in NCAA history.

Does anybody know if Mills will be starting this week? I know he's  supposed to play this week but I didnt know how many reps he was going to get.  Also is Newmeister supposed to be back?
Cornell needs to get back some of the pride and fire that they played with during their first two games, this is a talented football team and they are much better than they played the last two weeks.

Tough day for the Rams today.  Havent heard any other scores, havent heard from anybody from Cornell even.  All I know is that Dubuque has one hell of an athletic football team and discipline is key to beating them...I think this week will be crucial to the rest of Cornell's season.  Time to regroup and get ready for next week.  Does anyone know the status of QB Ryan Mills?  I saw he didnt play..how soon will we see him back in the lineup?

Congrats to all that won today..and good luck this week to everyone.

Big win in Iowa City today!

Yes Yes!!! Huge win this weekend.  That win just goes to show the changes that have taken place in Mt. Vernon.  Different atmosphere, different attitude, different program.  Hell of a win guys, hell of a win!

Sorry Walston, since I am a junior varsity member I can only recieve messages, I cant send them.  Im curious to know a little more about what kind of shape the program was in though.  Also in response to your email I am a former player.

You are absolutely right Ash Park; and thanks Charlie.  Depth always has been a problem for Cornell but I definitely see Cornell's roster increasing over the course of the next few years.  The biggest thing we need to do is take care of business early in the season and try our best to stay healthy to prepare us for one hell of a tough last couple of games.  This Saturday we will really get a taste of how well the Rams will be this season facing a team that averaged over 500 yds of total offense last year.  Whatever the circumstances, the Cornell coaching staff will find a way to keep the Rams competing, Coach Dillan has turned around every program he's been a part of, with exception to his one season stint last year, and I don't see this program being any different.

I just wanted to say congratulations to Cornell's Nate Newmeister on being Iowa Conference player of the week.  I must say that even though the toughness of the team Cornell played saturday is unknown, Cornell looked damn good.  Not too bad for the conference's "bottom feeders".  Good luck to the rest of the conference this satuday.
