Congratulations to the Warhawks you were the better team on Saturday. Disappointing end to the season for the Mary Hardin-Baylor Crusaders considering the goals the team had set. No excuses we were just hands down beaten on Saturday but keep your heads up and bounce back next year.

With or without the kicking play UMHB just got beat on Saturday, they didnt show up to play and that's what happens. UW-Whitewater was the better team and the best team won on Saturday hats off to the Warhawks and good luck in Salem. Disappointing end to the season for the Cru considering what our goals for this season were but keep your heads up, it took us 5 tries to beat Trinity if I am not mistaken and right now it may seem as if Whitewater has our number, knows where we stay, our Social Security Number, our mailbox number, DNA information and pretty much everything you can think of about us but one day our day will come to beat them. But when all is said and done the Cru lost to a better team on Saturday.

The Crusaders lost to a better team today, Congrats to the Warhawks and good luck in the National Championship game. UMHB was simply outplayed today.

December 11, 2008, 09:42:56 PMQuote from: imad3fanatic on December 10, 2008, 06:48:57 AMI am actually more suprised the UMHB band didnt get any kind of honorable mention or anything for all their hard work. I have to say I am a bit disappointed in Division III Football, even Third Team Special Teams would have been fine but to get nothing for all the talk about them all season is a travestyQuote from: Pat Coleman on December 09, 2008, 10:40:28 PMAs usual Pat you are correct in your summation. UMHB doesn't have any vote worthy all region candidates, just a bunch of winners.Quote from: imad3fanatic on December 09, 2008, 09:59:38 PMQuote from: Josh Bowerman on December 09, 2008, 09:21:14 PMW & J scores 7 on UMHB and they have 5 second teamers on offense. UMHB scores 63 on W & J and 46 on Wesley and they get only 2 on offense----- "Lucy you got some splaning to do".
Little surprised/disappointed that Justin Feaster, the ASC Offensive Player of the Year and Gagliardi Trophy finalist, was left off the All Region Team...![]()
Your top running back started three regular-season games at the position and even to this date has started less than half of UMHB's games at running back. He wasn't really even eligible to be nominated. You don't have receivers to nominate. That leaves the quarterback and the line. Quarterback is hard enough to crack as it is in this region. So ... here we are.

December 09, 2008, 11:04:40 AMQuote from: Bill McCabe on December 09, 2008, 08:35:04 AMYeah I am pretty disappointed to. I was going to allude to the fact that Wesley isn't playing anyone this week or remind him that we beat his team, but that would have been mean and though they lost they were very classy about, didnt make excuses about the loss and left with my dignity and respect, so I couldn't bring myself to do something like that. I do admit if there was a D3football.com Post Patterns All American Jerk list I probably would be voted Team Captain and probably deservingly but know that attack people when they make weak excuses for why UMHB lost, or say something negative about UMHB and the exact opposite happens. Thats why I get along so well with my companions from AbileneQuote from: Sader4life on December 09, 2008, 08:15:51 AMQuote from: wesleydad on December 08, 2008, 07:05:55 PMWesleydad that was pretty funny, like I am serious, you made me smile. I usually have a comeback to every comment that is directed at me, but that was just too clever- I am at a loss for words.
sader, there cant be any room left on the bandwagon, your ego takes up all the room.
You're at a loss for words? I'm disappointed.

I really think UMHB only won because of the band, and I think I heard another cowbell in the stands. There were several questionable calls from the officials and I believe is this game is played 10 times UMHB wins like this once out of the ten times. Washington and Jefferson was not used to the harsh weather conditions in Belton- Oh and Yessir this is for you, If HSU didnt have to play UMHB they would be in the National Semi-Finals right now. There I think I got it all
You are a PRICK. THATS JUST WRONG. Gotta say i do find the SWAGGER entertaining.
Ha ha ha ha- I think I may go to my room and cry

I was at both games in Whitewater last year and it was my worst experience as a fan losing to Whitewater at the Perk in the semi-final game. The guys were devastated and revenge is definitely on their minds. That's why they are so excited about playing against Whitewater. This journey to Salem woud not have been complete without a crack at UW-Whitewater.

December 08, 2008, 01:55:11 AMQuote from: Sader4life on December 06, 2008, 08:47:29 AMI apologize I was very wrong so very wrong, I probably need to stop all this prediction stuff altogether . This Crusader team is for real, and I know I am biased but I am pretty sure they had the best performance out of the four winning teams on Saturday. Its not to late to hop on the UMHB bandwagon people and all are welcome.
I do not think that Washington and Jefferson have faced a defense anywhere close to the caliber of Mary Hardin-Baylor's defense. Bobby Swallow is a great quarter-back and thoroughly deserving of his Second Team Preseason All-American honor. 275-413 passing for 3,551 yards and 36 touchdowns on the
season is pretty impressive. But I can't help but think if he has already been sacked 25 times this season he may be in trouble today, also expect the 5 INTs on the season number to go up. All the Saenz point to a big win for the Cru today. Call it confident, cocky, arrogant, dishing crow, but I will be surprised if the Cru does not win by three touchdowns today. Sure W&J is in the top 8 out of 239 teams in Division III (thats the top 3.35% of the DIII class) and had to be a good team to get here but in my opinion they are nowhere near UMHB's level and are going to struggle as in the past with a Texas team.

Good luck UMHB go out there and beat the Presidents (Dont even know if I am allowed to say that
)
Oh and its also very exciting to see that Keith, Pat and Ryan all picked UMHB to win first time this year in the playoffs we have had all three predictions in our favor. Thanks for the love, maybe UMHB can win the hearts of many more this weekend.

I see the Saenz of a another South Region Title. Ladies and gentlemen it is not to late to hope on the UMHB Bandwagon. Every week UMHB keeps getting more and more believers. Rule out UMHB at your own peril. And I just thought about it and I dont think a number 5 ranking isnt giving UMHB enough respect, sure it may be great for 230 some odd other teams but not for us. As I said before and I will say it again UMHB plays their best football when no-one thinks they are good enough.
