Walston and Kohawk,

It's all political.  Is your team in the playoffs?  Nope, then you are not an all-region pick(For the most part).  But I have seen it go the other way because the Offense MVP, 1000 yd rusher, 1st team All Region player last year,  was completely left off the North Region this year.  That makes no sense?  And I don't think that the IIAC is thought of as a weaker conference.  I coach in a different region and coaches over here think the IIAC has a strong tradition and would probably still not think about scheduling Central, Coe, Wartburg, etc.  Give the IIAC a little credit guys its a great "Black and Blue" Conference.  It's a physical, smashmouth conference.  And if St. John's hadn't lost their last game them Central would have beaten whoever else they played.  We got hosed!  Can't wait for next year! 

I would have to agree that UD will be playing for the chance to knock some one out of the playoffs this week.  Hats off to UD for the 180 they have done in the past couple of years.  Not to mention they were close to beating UW Platteville and should have be Loras (It hurts to say that but its true!) Coach B and his staff should be commended for building that progam back into IIAC contention.  I don't think they are ready for a run at the title but NOBODY is taking UD as an easy week anymore!  Good Luck all!
