i agree with what Stevie said......... Rhodes is without a doubt a great coach.. and lets not forget that he was National Player of the Year while leading his team at Lebanon Valley to the National Championship.....   hey if any parents carry those kind of laurels than let them speak, otherwise shut up....... Its kind of like one of those Bud Light Real Men of Genius Commericals where it somethin along the lines of "for those who cant play.... coach...and for those who cant coach, they sit 5 rows back yelling strategically shouting comments like..... catch the ball!!!"

not much of a poster but more of a reader, but lookin at the comments on Coach Rhodes... having listened to him several times as a speaker, he is without a doubt, one of the brightest and enthusiastic individuals i have ever met, any critics of his team this year should remember that as a player he did lead a his college team (lebanon valley) to a national championship and was d3 national player of the year. Any critics of Rhodes should remember and see if they can muster those kind of laurels. He'll be coaching on t.v. one day, without a doubt.

Guilford defeated roanoke 77-67 with a mediocre effort. The quakers suffered from beyond the arc and it seems that strong didn't have a good game either. Kimbrough and snipes led the way for the quakers with a refuse to lose mentality

I have to say Guilford's game versus Robert Morris (IL) scares me more than a little.  The Eagles have been an NAIA Final Four team the last two seasons and are ranked #1 this year, but I think Coach Palombo's scheduling strategy is correct......

Hasanova, i think ur slightly mistaken on the scheduling, Guilford is playing Robert Morris from springfield Illinoise, but theres also a chicago campus, which is the one you are speaking of.. haha believe me, we dont want to play them, Number 1 preseason Division 1 NAIA, haha supposively there big man inside could have been a draft pick last yr in the NBA, they also have 2 other all americans on there...   no no no... however, the other team, the springfield team does have some solid players on there, should be a good game for the quakers...

On an update, the quaks scrimmaged D2 Queens University in charlotte on sat, the scrimmage went well, the quakers pretty much took it took it to them. Queens was athletic but guilford just moved the ball around and out played them. I think a couple of the other top teams in the ODAC could have beat them as well also... Should be a tough conference this yr, really tough. Good luck to all the teams this yr! lets all win our games against USA south teams, it'll make the conference look better! 8)
