Why do we even care if two Stout FB players got busted for seeling the marching dust, and the D-ball. Wow college football players using Roids and selling or using illegal drugs. As anyone read the news this decade. Last time I looked most ball players are type A personalities with very addictive behavoiral patterns.

I wish the game could have turned out different for Whitewater, it would have been nice to see the National Title back in the toughest conference in the Nation.
Observations, well not that is matters much now, but the UWW offensive coaching staff really let the fans down and failed again in their play calling, the UWW Defensive backs coach and cordinator allowed MUC to use their main wepon instead of forcing them to use other options where as the Defensive staff at MUC eliminated the outside running option for Beaver and kept Stanley run after the catch limited. UWW should have used the TE more often, he was open.
I'm not trying to pile on here because I'm a UWL alum, but if and when you get another shot at the title UWW learn from this game please. Personaly I'm sick of seeing MUC make Salem their second home.

Dogfish offer still stands. Since I will be one of the few Wesley fans coming to the game, I would like to offer up four (4) official Dogfish Head t-shirts (2 adult - large & xl, 2 women's cut - med & large) for a mixed 12 pack of Point Beer, emphasis on mixed. I was just at the brewery today, and Sam the owner wishes all beer drinkers in WI well!
Any takers???

What makes you think we like beer in Wisconsin... Just because we have; Miller, Point, Old Style, City Brewery, New Glaurs, Capital Brewery, and the countless smaller brewers in the State

Another added advantage for MUC and SJU. There must be alot of locker sharing.

We are still on the other side of the storm here in Ohio. One added bonus of having a 200 man roster (with only 52 on the play-off roster), is there is a great supply of "cheap" labor to clear the field by game time.
How can you have a 200 man roster I thought everyone was limited to 100

If they move the UWW and SJU game anywhere it would be at Camp Randal. Just line in 96 when UWL played MUC....

NDSU has some excellent Wisconsin players. Adam Tadish, Jerrod Wagner are two offensive linemen that are outstanding. Joe lardinois is an excellent D-end. I'm sure there's more that I'm not thinking of.
NDSU has had a pipe line from Wisconsin for years, along with UND.

Yes, it would be fun, but remember that the lack of D-IAA or D-II is a significant part of the reason that WIAC teams are so talented and so much fun to watch.
Good point... Still imagine how much fun it would be to head up to UWGB to see the Phenoix play Northern Iowa, NDSU or a Northwestern and watch the Packers play on Sunday. With all the talent in this state taking scholarships at NIU, Western Michigan, Eastern Michigan, NDSU, UND, UMD.. the list goes on, we have the players to establish a Division II or IAA team

The charter states that only Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay and Parkside's campuses may offer athletic scholarships. If one of them wanted to add a scholarship football program they could, provided they can get the approval of the UW System, the State legislature and all the funding they need (which would be very tough).
Its just a bit fustrating that Minn. has close to 5 scholarship programs, Iowa has 3, Ill. around 4, heck even ND and SD have 3 to 4 each. I would rather enjoy seeing UWGB or even Marquete establishing a IAA or IA program. From a competive stand point, this state can meet the requirements of putting out a good scholarship team. As a college football fan it would be great to see this happen.

I didn't know it was written into the charter. What if UW Green Bay or UW Millwuakee tried to bring on a Football program. Now I'm sure UW Madison wouldn't want to see another scholarship program in the state. I think half the starting roster for Northern Ill. is from Wisconsin.

I support La Crosse. We have only nine games this year. To get that many (3 home games), we had to play a Division 1AA team and fly out to California. This with Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa full of D3 teams that won't schedule us.
Congrlatulations on playing Eau Claire. Come another ninety miles South some time during the regular season.
That's been LaCrosse problem for years, finding teams to play. The problem just got worse this year by beating a IAA team. Its not going to be long before one of the WIAC teams will have to jump up to Division II since UND or NDSU, which ever is still in the Division II ranks, moves up to IAA in 2007. With only 1 scholarship football program in the state there is room for another.

For everyone who was wondering about Booker Stanley coming to WW, here is the final answer. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15712363/
He could still go to Whitewater, on a chain gang.

I've seen ST. Norbert play a Lawarence this year and from what I saw. STN likes to throw to the TE, who has some speed and soft hands. The QB likes to loft the ball and UWW should pick him off often.
