Does anyone have any information on a potential scrimmage for Fisher this year? It has been forever for me since I have seen the Cards play (or posted on this board). I am eager to get back into it after a few years away.

Another classic between Fisher and IC. Ithaca scored 38 points in the first half, before Fisher came back and cut the lead to 38-35 with most of the 4th quarter left to go. IC made more plays down the stretch to preserve the lead is basically the takeaway. One critical call where Fisher appeared to have a first down on a 3rd and 9, that would have moved the ball into the red zone. After initially calling it a catch, the officiating crew deemed Blake was out of bounds. IC stopped the 4th down attempt, which was a critical play in the game. I watched the game on the IC broadcast and from their camera angle it did appear that Blakes foot was out of bounds, so the refs seemed to get it right.

What a good game. It looked like a Varsity vs JV game in the first half, and then Fisher looked really good in the 2nd half. If Fisher ever figures out how to play 4 quarters they could be really good.

Another win for Fisher this weekend, but another game that makes you scratch your head. Fisher really struggled with TCNJ for 2.5 quarters, and were down 16-5 well into the 3rd, when they rip off 5 straight touchdowns and win 40-16. Offensively Fisher could not get anything going, and the announcer was talking about putting in the back up QB (who was warming up on the sidelines) before they go on a huge tear in the late 3rd/4th. Defensively Fisher had 2 more picks (I believe that is 9 in 3 games to lead D3).

It's a weird team this year for Fisher. Next week is Ithaca with both teams, assuming IC finishes off AU, at 3-0. Like old times.

I guess IC would be 2-0 with the bye week last week.

Fisher with an ugly win today. Despite 6 turnovers, a blocked (chip shot) field goal, and a missed extra point Bridgewater State only falls to Fisher by 7. After the last few years I will take a win of any kind for Fisher, but they will need to be way better than that in the weeks ahead. The offense shows flashes with some really good athletes, but does not move the ball consistently enough. The Defense looked strong again.

2-0 is 2-0, right...

Was able to watch every play of the Fisher/Buff State game today. Considering last years issues, it was a great start for Fisher. They were in control most of the day, and made the big plays when they needed to (see 3 picks in their own half of the field in the first half). The O line looks to be WAY better than last year, and the D looked good as well.

A nice start to the season for the Cards!

Heard Fisher had a combined practice with Hobart last week and a scrimmage with U of R last night. Any word on how they looked?

At least Fisher is winning these games. 7 straight with a sweep of Utica today. They still have 1 more with Utica and 2 with Houghton. If they win those 3 that will be 28 wind and two more games with Rochester and Keystone.

SJF Cards...pretty good run for your cards..take a peek at this.  Regardless of the AQ at the end of the year if your cardinals keep it up, they look great for the tournament.  Their SOS is as usual...really high.

I am hoping Fisher can make some hay here against what appears to be the weaker part of their schedule. They have already won 4 straight against Houghton and Canton, and now get Elmira and Utica. That hurts the SOS, but could boost that win total. Fingers crossed they perform well down the stretch, but i am not sure about an at large.

Tough to get a read on Fisher this year. They have had a nice start to the season at 7-3, with wins over Johns Hopkins, UMass Boston (2 out of 3), and now Kean who are all ranked. However the pitching does not look solid at all outside of kuruts. Brophy has only thrown 1 game (3 innings I think), and Dawson has only thrown 1 inning. I thought those would be the top 2 guys this year.

Should be interesting now that they are back from Florida, and start to play in region.

Not a good start.

Offensive scheme has no logic behind it.

Defense is getting gashed, three man fronts are useless if you have no size or ability to hold the line of scrimmage.

Center can't even snap the ball on shotgun snaps.

Going to be a long year, again.

Yeah, this has been hard to watch. Fisher is just getting man handled

Fisher D is just getting picked apart. They have a freshman playing corner against W&J's top WR, with no safety help. Another long touchdown pass (on 3ed and 10) and the score is 23-0.

Ugly on both sides of the ball for Fisher.

Not a great start to the year for the Fisher D. All I heard from coaches and people around the program was how much better the d was going to be this year. W & J marches 87 yards and scores easily on their first possession (after Fisher moved the ball but stalled just pass half field).

Have never been impressed with this D coordinator, and thus start doesn't make me feel much better.

7-0 W&J

Time always seem to crawl that last hour before game time. Let's go CARDS!

They also have Pat Galer (already talked about) with great hands.
Here is hoping that they get the O line protection that allows the passing game to flourish!

Not sure how Fisher will look tomorrow, and the rest of the season, but if nothing else I am excited about the young talent they are starting to accumulate. Players like this new Jake Thompson (Soph), John Letta (Soph), Cam Cleveland (Soph), Max Bates (Fresh - transfer from Edinboro), Durrell Hutcherson (soph), LeMar Peters (soph), Terry White (Soph), and Pat Galer look like they have some real talent. This years Freshman class seems to have some talent as well. Check out Malachi Duval (#2 RB as a Freshman), and Ricardo Yolas as Freshman RB's. The more i have looked at these young guys they more impressed I am. We will see a lot of these guys this year so they plenty of time to develop, which could be a good thing.

I am interested to see what this class scan be as they develop. It could be fun to watch, but I am imagining growing pains early on.
