That is all she wrote. Good luck next week Tommies.

UST has been dominating the game. However, Tanney was able to strike quickly after the third UST turnover to tie it up.

UST has to be averaging around 8 yards a carry. Every time I hear "Tracy drops back" I breathe a sigh of relief.

That is the UST radio link I am listening to. Crystal clear and no buffering.

I don't think anyone has it out for St. Norbert in football.

Personally, I never wanted to play for Grinnell because no matter what you accomplish there individually there are always skeptics about how good you are. I am one of those skeptics.

Congrats to the Tommies for their playoff bid. Do not judge all of us by "scots fan." He does a good job of making an @$$ of himself on the Midwest Conference board as well.

Looking forward to the game. I was terrified that the Tommies would be coming to Monmouth. I was really hoping somehow we would be getting Coe in the first rd because I fear the Tommies. Looks like two very different, and two very good offenses squaring off. There might be quite a few points on the board. This is by far the best team Monmouth will be playing this year and the Tommies can not say the same thing. They are used to playing the Johnnies and Monmouth has a very weak schedule because of their conference. Right now the weather says cloudy and 55 degrees for gametime on Saturday.

Everyone coming down have a safe trip. We will be tailgating just to the west of the stadium in the parking lot behind North Hall. That is probably the best area to set up a tent for the Tommie fans.

I would say good luck, but....you know.

Welcome aboard the MWC express. SNC should be here with us but the powers at hand decided different. We are as deserving as any other conference to have 2 teams in. Let's prove them wrong SCOTS. Continue the fight all the way to Salem. EMAS!!!!  :)

Based on what?

SNCOLDAD- I just personally think Monmouth would beat St.  Norbert 100 times out of 100. That is what I meant by outclassed. Just my opinion, I didnt mean to come off as disrespectful in my initial post.

Well that pretty much defies explanation.

Do you think the MWC's difficulty winning playoff games had anything to do with it?  No offense intended, I'm just asking for your opinion.

I think that is exactly why. I did not have St. Norbert in for this exact reason. We are a bad conference that does not deserve two teams until we make noise in the playoffs. We are one of those conferences that would be eligible for the "play-in" game during March Madness. This is not opinion, it is a fact that many people have trouble grasping.

SNCOLDAD: I do not think the timing of the game had anything to do with it. I honestly feel that SNC was simply outclassed by Monmouth this year. I wish they would have gotten in just to represent the conference but the MWC is not worthy of two bids.

That said, St. Thomas @ Monmouth is one of the better 1st Rd. games in my opinion. As a Scots fan,  I am terrified of this matchup. I would feel more comfortable if Coe was coming into Illinois.

If they are not practicing then the coach should be fired.
