just got back in town from vwc.  not a very good trip for the chocs.  vwc played a hell of a game.  i personally thought that the refs pretty much sucked on both sides.  not so much the calls they made but the no calls is what killed me.  the chocs just wasn't ready for that kind of game.  also, those fans are something.  they really love their team.  but what really surprised was how far they took it. the whole BS, and overratted chants doesn't really bother me,  but some of the stuff i heard really could be avoided.  it wasn't a chant,  just 1 idiot here and there that showed no class.

hopefully mike jones and staff will have a good recruiting and we will get another shot at you guys.

It was good enough for the women's final four in 04 and 05.  And why would a college with 1,200 students want a gym that seats more?  The official attendance in last Saturdays game was 1,480.  I don't thing Mississippi (I may be wrong) will have the crowd capacity of HSC who has a phenominal following and is only 3 hours away.  Oh, not to mention that MC average home attendance is less than 1,100.  So what will the problem be?

I realize for the regular season attendance was less than 1100.  but for tournament time a bigger facility would be bettter.

    have you lost your mind.  I am sure that Betty is a great player,  but to say that he equals those three is ludicris.  There is no way that one player would have made up that difference last night.  The Chocs  only played 20 min of good basketball last night and still won pretty easy. 
   Have you seen MC play in person this year?  If you haven't, you need to before you make a statement like that.  A stat sheet or on internet feed doesn't give them any justice.

I really feel sorry for the voters of the top 25.  it seems like there are more upsets in DIII than any other division.  Maybe I am wrong,  But David's work on the top 25 really shows it alot better than the newspaper. Thanks alot David!
